Those kinds of people really bug me. I mean, they act all high-and-mighty, when they haven't even figured out how to use cure themselves.

 

I call these people: "Back-seat gamers".

 

I mean, when I'm watching my brother play, I'm supporting him all the way, and in fact, he even asks me to help him out when it comes to Gummiships, mini games, and even fighting Data-Xigbar. And to be honest, those negative people who act like they're better than the rest of the world seriously have alot to learn before they even have the right to judge others.

 

Sorry guys, just being honest here. Not trying to make anyone feel bad.

JK, I don't think I've really met anybody like that on this site. I will say though, back in the day whenever I used to bring KH and KH2 with my PS2 to my youth center, there'd almost always be a couple of annoying guys who would keep shouting out stupid things to get on my nerves. I don't know how one can even make the phrase "Sora's island" an irritating thing to hear, but somehow they found a way. Middle school, go figure.

 

Anyway, they weren't major KH fans or anything, well maybe a few of them played but they weren't as obsessed with it as I was at the time, but they were just trying to annoy me. I was pretty sensitive back then, so I reacted strongly whenever anyone was picking on me in any way. I've learned to be more passive nowadays, but I guess I would find it annoying when someone who thinks they know the game better than me is trying to tell me how to play. I play in a pretty impractical manner because I'm trying to make the experience as "cinematic" as possible, of course I'm not going to try and be a beast and clear certain objectives super early, doesn't mean I don't know the game any better than you, hypothetical non-specific back-seat gamer who I am indirectly talking to.

 

On the flip side though, I do have concerns that maybe I let myself fall into that category sometimes whenever my brother or GF are playing one of my games and I see them being n00bish about it. But I got to remind myself that the only way they really learn is if they discover it on their own, so I try to keep backing off when I can while still giving advice.
