Only a few times, such as for Field Trips, and I think a train or two, but other than that, not really.

EDIT: And Airplanes when travelling to see my cousins in Texas and Florida.

I very rarely use public transport as I have a car! Finally could rid myself of infuriating late or early buses! :)

Sometimes, although I usually take trains.

Only if I want to die. I live in the detroit area and i'm white.

Rarely. I normally drive.

Wish I could. I live in a "developing area" which is a nice way of saying the sticks. There's a cattle farm behind my house. So yeah, not really an option.

Rarely, I hate public transport. There's too many annoying and shady people on there, among other things. Having a car makes things much more convenient and is more comfortable for me.

The most I ever used "public transportation" it wasn't really public, it was buses for the Disney College Program participants & they were absolutely terrible. I used light-rails and trains through NJ Transit to go to NYC two times and I liked those simply because I hate the idea of driving in NYC but overall I haven't had great experiences with public transportation.

Since I live in NYC, it's sometimes more convenient to get to places using the public transit system (despite it being really sucky and expensive compared to how it used to be). If I wanna go downtown or somewhere somewhat far from home, I take the train or bus when I can. Otherwise, I'm walking.

Of course. It's nice since I don't drive. Except when the buses are late and I need to get to class. I'm in British Columbia, so it's a normal thing.

I use the bus sometimes around school when I'm in America but for the most part America's public transportation is really limited.  In Japan it's the only way I get around other than walking.  Their train system is amazing.

Well I'm in NYC, so it's almost a must for traveling long distances, especially if one doesn't own a car.

Pffft, every single day. I catch the train to get to Uni, and I love it! :)

Peace!

I'd say about once every other week, just through happenstance. I'm not a huge fan of taking the bus to work, but if I have to.

It's not at all practical to do so where I live. There's no bus stops anywhere near me, and trains really only run in the metropolitan areas, not the weird quasi-redneck area I'm close to.

I sometimes take a taxi to work. It would be cooler if they were actually a pretty yellow like the ones in NY, but they're just a boring white and red. :P

Yup. Born and raised new Yorker who works in manhattan so i always use the train

I rode the school bus for 12 years but now I drive

Talking school wise, I never, ever took the bus to school.  Mom, Dad, or my Stepdad would always drive me to school.  The only time I ever took the bus was when I went to college.  Other than that, I haven't used public transports.

Now, talking out of school, I've been in transports for field trips to other towns in Puerto Rico, and most recently, I took a train to downtown Chicago, which was awesome! :D

Not really. I don't have anywhere too go.

I use it Monday-Friday because of college classes. 12 units!

Only in Australia , I would drive a car if im back at my hometown.

Very, very rarely. I might need to use it now since I have two classes on the exact opposite ends of my university that have a somewhat short break between them, but I've never had much of a need for public transportation. It's not a very common option out where I live, anyway.

Sometimes, if my car is under service or somebody can't pick me up.

Train two to three times a week.
