The gummi ship sections were improved improved upon in KH2, and I did go back to do some of the missions but I never really cared all that much to build my own ship since they were pretty easy enough with the normal blueprints, and it just felt tedious.

 

Just wondering how many actually bothered with actually building a ship KH1 and KH2

I don't have the patience.

I actually hated gummi ship building. Only reason why I don't have those trophies in both collections. 

 

I built a gummi ship in kh1 and kh2 you absolutely wreck if you do.

In KH1 I did it all the time, because the starting Highwind was such a piece of pure awful, so I had to really.

KH2 kept supplying me with new, perfectly fine gummi ships, so there was little incentive.

Lets just say sometimes I place the gummiship blocks at very weird areas and it pisses me off every time certain block is not in the right place

Did it ALOT in KH1. Did it the FIRST time I played KH2, discovered I had awesome ones just sitting there in later runs.

I tried building those Donut Ships but failed horribly

I loved doing the Gummiship missions and making my own gummiships! In fact, just the other day, I made a Teeny Ship, not a regular gummiship, that was a Tonberry! How 'bout that? To be truly honest, if I were to play gummi-missions again, I'd make another gummiship just because I can!

I did, but it was just a giant lump with lasers and guns floating all around it.

I couldn't figure it out or I just gave up but I did in KH1. That's the only reason I think KH1 gummi ship was better/

I've created my own Gummi Ship in both.

I didn't try until 1.5, and I'm now questioning why I never tried it before. The ship I made is absolutely overpowered, and I love it.

I hate the gummi ship and its routes.

Its the only part of the gameplay that i really don't care.

But after almost 10 years, i built my own ship in KH 1.5. Trophy reasons.

 

On a side not, Gummi ship was improved greatly in KH2 (in fact everything was, except story)

Comparing it to KH1 should be considered bullying.

Discovered the goodness of donut ships by myself when i first played KH2 way back then

Wasn't really a fan of the gummi ship building, but I didn't mind it.. much.

I built a donut ship and stuck a drain Gummi in it. They couldn't touch me and trying just made me stronger. Fk yeah.

Never did, never will. 

I had a friend helping making this I never understand this though.

I hope in KH3 will be easier but doubt it.
