March 30, 20169 yr I am way excited for it! I don't think VR is the way that every single game should go or that one day VR is all we will use, but it will definitely introduce new types of experiences that you can't get anywhere else.
March 31, 20169 yr Nope. I feel a bit queasy in a car ride sometimes, I'd hate to see how sick I get playing the PSVR...
March 31, 20169 yr I'm 50-50 about VR in general. I mean, don't get me wrong, it sounds really fun and possibly useful for certain cases, it's just that I'm worried about how much it will affect us. Our eyes and minds will really feel it if we're not careful with the power of VR. I heard rumors of someone who got robbed while they were playing a VR game. And although I believe it was just a test to see how much grip VR can have on someone's mind, the "robber" stole a bunch of stuff, and the guy using the VR didn't hear anything from the real world. I'm sure it won't be that way for EVERYONE, but it's a scary thought to know how easy it is to block out the real world with technology! I'll consider a type of VR, but I'll have to wait and see if there will be other uses for it. (MGS's VR training for Snake & Raiden, could have military benefits.)
March 31, 20169 yr I'm open to trying new things when it comes to video games. I would at least like to try some form of VR gaming.
March 31, 20169 yr I think it'll be cool. I don't know if it's the future of gaming or whatever, but I'm always pro technology pushing in new directions, so even if it ends up just being a fad, it's a good thing to see for the time being.
March 31, 20169 yr Never really been a fan of VR. I think its something of a gimmick like the 3DS's main feature (which is at least optional).
March 31, 20169 yr I can't see myself ever getting excited for any VR. The cost alone is enough to keep from being interested. PlayStation VR, currently the cheapest VR headset, costs $400, not counting the necessary camera and Move controllers; I'm not about to pay more for an accessory than I did for my actual PS4
March 31, 20169 yr I'm one of those people that probably won't get into the VR craze until its near the end of its life-cycle, ya know? And even then, I probably wouldn't try it out, ya know? But then again, if something pops up that I like that is being implemented into VR, then I'll give it a chance, ya know?
March 31, 20169 yr not really. i prefer a controller in hand to play my games. VR, in relation to video games, feels like it's going to be a gimmick for the enthusiasts. now VR itself is probably going to be used a lot for other things and that's fine. i'll just never really see the appeal of having all of the equipment to relax and play a game when i can do that with a controller.
March 31, 20169 yr Ever since the craze started I felt that it would be just a fade, like 3D or motion controls... Until I tried it. It's just something in another level and I can't wait for the PS VR to come out, I'm not sure yet if I'm gonna get it on release but I will get it, just the thought of playing an horror game with them makes my skin crawl and I imediately start giggling like a school girl.
March 31, 20169 yr Maybe in five or ten years, definitely not now. Too busy doing other stuff, exams and all. Edited March 31, 20169 yr by Jon Snow
March 31, 20169 yr I'm curious about it and I'll no doubt try it out one day but I don't have any interest in buying it.
