I tend to go with Action, as it's a relatively flexible genre that can fit with many others, i.e. Action-Adventure, Action-RPG, Action-Platformer, etc., all of which happen to be my favorites. X3

Awesome question! The video game genre that I enjoy the most is the RPG genre. Action Adventure games come very close to the RPG genre in my opinion

Usually RPG. I've done only one simulation game and that is Yandere Simulator, obviously.

Action, generally. Stuff like inFamous, Kingdom Hearts, etc. Really, anything that offers freedom of movement.

RPG in a close second, probably.

Action Adventure RPG xD

Racing because when you get a bunch of people together with flying shells and stuff sh*t goes down.

Both action and turn-based RPGs are my favorite, then adventure and platformers!

Pretty much any RPG and hack and slash, even though the only hack and slash game I ever played so far is Metal Gear Rising :P

RPG, is at the top? S-sh-should I be surprised? Whatever, I like Open World games the most, the look of the setting, the freedom, just great! But I've played a good few of them, that I'm actually becoming bored of them... Just a world filled with crap to do, honestly tired of collectiblesANYWAY, yeaaahhhh...

RPGs, specifically turn-based ones. Platformers, Fighting games, and Action/Adventure all come after that.

Hidden object.

Is that a genre?

If not, RPG is my answer

I'm a pretty varied person when it comes to games, but I have to say that the genre that I love the most, without a doubt, is the role playing genre!  RPG's have such amazing stories and depth to them, and of all the games I've played, RPG's are the ones I've had the most fun with, ya know? :D

Hmmm, I wonder what my favorite genre is?

RPG is dominating right now, this is crazy.  Not really a surprise given that this is a website dedicated to a RPG of course, but still.

Adventure/Exploration games like Zelda,Metroidvania,Mega Man Legends etc

I like a lot of different games across a number of different genres, but I probably mostly play RPGs.

I see I'm the only one who chose strategy XDD

I just love Fire Emblem, and FF has it's part of strategy too, so that's why I chose that one. Action (Hack and Slash) comes as close second :D

I'm the kind of guy who tries out a game, and absolutely gushes over it for an insane amount of time xD

This time around it's Team Fortress 2 xD

rpg games is what i enjoy the most but i also like action and adventure

Rpg without a doubt. It's satisfying leveling up characters, and other equipment/abilities/stats etc. The games are usually fantasy based and are of considerable length. Action/Adventure genres would take 2nd and 3rd for me.

Sports is top for me with RPG second and Action/Adventure third.  I love Puzzle games, as well as, certain Strategy games.  I guess you could say I'm a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to genre preferences.
