What is your favorite Kingdom Hearts boss and why? Give a good reason why please. What about them do you like? What is it about fighting them that you like?

I love fighting the Grim Reaper, I don't know why but there's something that feels really satisfying about it. Also, there's a higher chance of triggering Sora's Antiform, so that's cool.

The Roxas fight in KH2FM because I like it in games when you fight a different version of yourself and the Roxas fight is hard but not too hard to figure out and the Roxas theme playing makes it even better, its just fun

Final fight against Xemnas in KH2, mostly because of this:

Looks so AWESOME!! :D

Vanitas (and by extension any Sora or Sora-related boss battle, i.e. Roxas, Xion, etc.), I'm a big fan of metaphysical battles, and the symbolism and call backs to the Roxas battle are just too huge to ignore. It's a really epic fight, with a really kicking score, and it is probably the most cinematic in style and that is what I always look for and try to create in my battles. Granted a lot of the cinematic parts are due to QTE's, but I've always been a fan of those anyway so all the more reason for me to love this. It's kind of why I'm a little sad that Nomura said they wouldn't be in KH3. Considering how many titles we've had to press either the Triangle button or a Y button to do certain things, I can't really imagine NOT doing something like that in a huge KH3 title, but maybe they'll still be there as like attack prompts, like for Ars Arcanum and the like. As long as I can still do all the things that the Reaction Commands have allowed me to do, just without a button prompt, then I'll be just fine, it's only the cinematic and bold dynamic action I care about.

Riku-Ansem.

It was the first 1v1 fight against another Keyblade wielder and it felt epic.

Xemnas' fights in KH2 (except for the first one), it was amazing, it's really long, hard (first time you play only) and it has got loads of cutscenes that make the fight even better.

Young Xehanort in DDD. I'm not exactly sure why this is my favorite KH boss, but I just have a real blast fighting him! xD

Probably Roxas/Data Roxas. I really like fighting him: his moveset is awesome, the location is beautiful and "The other promise" is such a nice music.

No heart, your always on edge when you fight him.

Lingering Will for super tenseness, Kurt Zisa for a lesser version of that; it goes in very obvious stages, and helps you play better by showing you what strategies you need to adopt.

oh gosh hard question.

riku fights were great and rewarding, xemnas fights were a blast too, and overall all secret bosses fight were awesome, hard and rewarding..

but if there's one fight I have to pick, I'd go with Xigbar's fight in kh2

Because the scene introducing it is badass, and xigbar's been taunting us like forever. Plus I really enjoy him as an Organisation XIII member, his personnality, and later his schemes which we stil learn about. So from the beginning he was appealing, back when I played kh2 and even more with the other games.

But man, being with the keyblade while he shoots at you upside down, from the roof, ground shifting, him teleporting , donald not healing...very personnal but it was a thrilling fight even if he isn't hard.

And I like his weapons a lot too, which adds to the choice.

"Have you been a good boy?"

I really loved fighting Captain Hook in the first Kingdom Hearts. The good captain is a great character, and the fact that he actually puts up a good fight was a real treat. It's the perfect way to capture the feeling of a chapter about two kids who are growing up in different ways. While Riku is fine with joining the pirates, Sora is able to fight them off, and of the two of them, he can still fly.

Definitely Xion, she was a lot of fun and since she was one of my favorite characters when I played Days it was hard to kill one of my favorite characters. Her fight was difficult, especially when she had the Ragnarok ability or the multiple swords, god  those were the worst parts. I absolutely loved her final form when she becomes a giant, that was a lot of fun. And when I finally defeated her. I felt satisfied with the ending despite being incredibly sad and upset that Roxas only cared about sharing ice cream than his best friend who's dying right in front of him seriously Roxas, YOU HAD THE CHANCE!!

I'm gonna have to go with Vanitas, both story-wise and superboss. He's one of those bosses that I can't just wail on with a pattern until he's dead; it probably sounds crazy but I swear the AI always seems to adapt to my fighting style to make my life difficult. xD I once maxed out my level to 99 on Proud and went to trash him in his final fight just for lulz -- yeah, no. He's tricky even then. He's always a challenge, in short, plus I just really love those fast, frenetic, down-and-dirty types of battles, which his always are. Plus the fact that the superboss' difficulty increases with your level is pretty cool. Annoying, but cool.

And his final string of boss fights on level 1? It gets so personal.

Oh, this is a tough pick for me!  There's so many amazing boss battles in the Kingdom Hearts series, so I don't know how to choose just one!  Hmm, okay, if I had to pick one boss, it'd be Marluxia!  He's my favorite character from Organization XIII, and I loved fighting against him, especially during his final stage!  I love how Marluxia symbolizes death, hence the name, "The Graceful Assassin!"  I just loved how that creepy Grim Reaper looking thing loomed over Marluxia in the final battle! But yeah, it was great battling him!

If I had to choose another boss fight, it'd be against Vanitas at the end of Ventus's story in Birth By Sleep!  That battle was simply epic, and I loved how it basically symbolized Ventus's battle against himself, against his own darkness, ya know?  That, and well, Last Word's a pretty badass attack to perform!  (Plus, battling in the Station Of Awakening, that's always a plus in my book! :D)

If Leon in Traverse Town counts  I love replaying it.

Marluxia in the final battle. The music was fantastic.

Probably The Lingering Will. That boss was SOOOO difficult, it took me multiple tries to beat at lvl 99 on crit, but it is a well designed fight and I had fun playing it

Well I have two that tie for my most favorite bosses.

Maleficent (Dragon) in Kingdom Hearts I: As a kid, I always thought the dragon scene from Sleeping Beauty was badass. The fact that I actually got to fight her myself (albeit as Sora) felt really awesome.

Xemnas's final battle in Kingdom Hearts II: This one's set-explanatory. The ending was so hardcore, and the battle actually felt like a final boss (unlike Ansem in Kingdom Hearts I).

Roxas data batte the music is so emotional.

For KH1 Captain Hook.

The Xion battle (all forms).

Because it feels so epic, and sad all at once, becasue Xion's making Roxas destroy her, and you have no choice in it.

Plus the random world switches keeps you on your toes.

Not to mention the music...

Hmmm...

KH1:

DISNEY: Hook (had a lot of fun knocking him flying off the ship)

HEARTLESS: Guard Armour (Loved Rayman and it just reminded me of him)

KH2:

DISNEY: Pete or Hades

ORG 13: Xemnas

HEARTLESS: Dark Thorn

The second Armored Xemnas fight in Kingdom Hearts II. The music is great and the part where you have to glide, dodging buildings being chucked at you is freaking awesome.

Julius because he was the only challenging boss in DDD

If you looked at my profile stuff you could figure it out.  Larxene baby.  I love how whenever she gets low on hp she gets angrier and she has bonus attacks and deals more damage plus can use her special attacks way more often.
