I remember KH3, the Ultimatum- Nomura said "he was trying to communicate feelings" in the game that people could pick up on.

Honestly I think he was probably tired of KH for a while. All the crap that happened with Vs XIII and 3 at the same time probably left him embittered

Tbh? I think he wanted to get KH3 out there just so he can get it out there- to be done with it.

I've talked to a few insiders that mentioned as early as 2017 he was already working on the future. That's how I felt when I played 3

I say all that cause this Lost Masters arc he seems revitalized and refreshed- excited even, you can feel it
