Then again Automata might be overated schlock backed by a passionate fanbase made up of either young kids who it was their first real game with a unique identity and clung to it a la Persona 5 or gamers that only play like 10 games a year old and new, while pontidicating how it is a greatest of all time when in reality it might just have been a case of right place right time, not to mention the people horned out for 2B and give much more credit to the writing and design of the game and by extension Yoko Taro than is actually deserved because it has entered such a cultural zeitgeist that having an objective conversation about it is impossible without siding with extremes and taking on viewpoints we other wise wouldn't for a less popular game.

Then again my favorite game of all time is Metal Gear Solid 2 and my favorite anime is Evangelion, so, what do I know lmao.
