it's the shape of his face

Sora's face is usually rounder

hair is the same as when he was a child

His face is also just smaller

His eyes, nose and mouth

I like his new hair actually because it makes him look like he was supposed to look without the influence of Ventus and Roxas

so if his child model already looked like this in KH1 then they probably just want him to look older. Most people stop with changing their hair in crazy ways once they are close to adulthood
