    The problem with Square balancing is that unlike Atlus balancing there is a point where you don't need to engage with technicalities in most Square titles you can brute force most things.

    I agree mostly which is why I was so surprised people were so upset by 16 like FF has never been a particularly deep any semblance of difficulty RPG series There's some exceptions like say 7 remake hard mode but have we been playing the same series
