English trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3D released

it is the same actor and yea ymx is played by riku i just wish everyone had normal voices

 

How is Joshua's voice not normal? If anything, he's the only character in any Square Enix game EVER that has a normal voice. Namely, a voice that a snobby early teen would have.

 

Speaking of which, I want more than one line from Neku. Actually, I want more lines from all of the TWEWY crew, they had so little voice acting in the DS game, I want as many full lines as I can get!

 

I didn't like Young Xehanort, despite it sounding familiar. I know that it was revealed that David Gallagher would be playing him, but he sounds like someone else.

Sora, for whatever reason, sounds different, why that may be, idek.

Young Xehanort sounds weird, and yes folks, it's voiced by the same dude as Riku.

Joshua...well maybe I see too many generic things, but it's bad enough to hear that kind of voice coming from it.

Lea, although Quinton Flynn does an awesome, isn't exactly showing much emotion into these scenes, and that was a downer for me.

 

I think what I only liked about this is that Mickey's VA is actually getting better which I'm enjoying.

 

Oh and to top it off, they just had to take an old trailer that STILL has the Japanese gameplay, and just voice over it. Feels like it's Final Mix all over again. I'm not asking for a complete redone trailer that impresses me to a whole new level, I'm kind of asking for less laziness for input. Seriously, I think it bothered me to even see the Japanese gameplay again when I got English VA's, not to mention the gameplay battles were muted (obviously since it would be Japanese grunting), which at that point it looks stupid.

 

I think the VA's are worse than BBS imo.

I thought Richard Epcar and Paul St. Peter sounded pretty good.

I find it funny that the first English trailer (not including Nintendo Direct, because that wasn't really a trailer) happens to be the last one shown in Japan that spoils a tonne.

And yeah, alot of the voices sounded off to me aswell.

Osment sounds like he's trying to sound young, and it's obvious that he's struggling. Weird. He never did this with the last couple of games. Why now? Xehanort threw me off guard, but that one's pretty good. The mixing is atrocious, though....oy.

Was it just me, or did Joshua sound more.... girlish? XDDD I'm playing TWEWY right now and I think he sounds just a little bit different. That, or it's because he says more in KH3D than he does in TWEWY and therefore would sound quite different. This game still looks awesome and I cannot wait for July 31st to get here. I'm going to pre-order it next week.

I'm loving Haley's voice, actually. It sounds great to me! But YMX, I do agree with you...it doesn't sound like David, but since he confirmed it...it means he's an awesome actor!!

David could have been modest about his acting abilities, you never know. But I guess we'll find out when the game is out and we see the credits, lol.

That wasn't too bad, and I loved Sora and Riku's voice acting, but I think the translation team has failed a bit here.

Got really excited when I saw the video in my YouTube subscriptions.

Some of the lines sounded a little odd, but it might have been because they were all taken out of context. When Lea agreed to go into the dream world (after answering Yen Sid's question) he sounded really cool.

I can't wait to hear Ienzo. ^^

....I just now realized....what Roxas said to Axel. How in the f*** did he know what he yelled at Xion, he wasn't even around when that happned! @_@?!

What happened to Yen Sid's voice?! ;A; it's awful.

 

Mickey's voice is awesome though. And imo I think David Gallagher is sounding pretty good as Young Nort (though my view might change once I play the game). I think it's cool how he sort of sounds like Ansem SoD and a bit like the other Norts.

 

Pete was awesome too, though we should expect that from the Disney cast.

 

I really liked Riku's voice, David is really impressing me. I'm not sure what you guys mean about Sora sounding funny, though, I guess I just didn't hear it?

 

My favorite part was Braig.

 

Honestly though, I'm a bit dissapointed by this trailer for the poor syncing and the Japanese gameplay. But it's still a very effective trailer bc I am VERY excited

 

Oh and it sounded like Quinnton wasn't even trying. What a shame, he's usually one of the best. I won't lose hope though, maybe it's better when you play the game.

I have one word,AWESOME! And yes I have not played TWEWY but Joshua's voice DID seem girlish.

I'm not gonna lie, when i saw the first few seconds on another channel, I thought it was fake... Sora and MF sounded like they were fandubbed to me. But then I heard Riku, Mickey, and Goofy and was like =O and i almost squeaked from excitement when Lea said "Fine, then lets jump right in."
