Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX's credits contain scenes from Kingdom Hearts 3D & Kingdom Hearts III

inb4 DDD HD is on the New 3DS and everybody is pissed.

 

I'm pretty hyped for that secret ending though. Props to the guy for not dropping major spoilers on everyone (even if this info isn't 100% confirmed), but I'm pretty sure I'm the only person here who doesn't care about spoilers to the story.

 

 

I dunno about that. Unless DDD HD would be on PS4 and XBox One, they wouldn't make a KH3 demo from the ground up for PS3, WiiU, etc. That's just me though: an incomplete version of the game tacked onto another game.

 

Edit: One thing that bothers me about a Wii U DDD HD is that a Gamepad is required to play the game, or that you can't play with the Gamepad only and then the dual screens thing would be really cumbersome.

I doubt they will remaster anything on the Ps3 anymore. They moved on to next gen.

KH3 isn't coming anytime soon though. Atleast not in the next 3 years.

KH3 isn't even close to being finished. It may not even come out until 2016 or 2017, and 1.5 hinted at 2.5, and KH3D scenes were here, hinting at a KH3D HD Remaster.

Yeah that's the thing PS3 and WiiU aren't getting itPS3 because 2015 will make it way too oldWiiU because it's not selling wellPs4/one because KH3 is coming to those platforms and they want to encourage console sales

You're probably right about that one, Sorarocks90. I myself am unsure of what's going on with DDD, but this speculation is really getting me thinking.

Well Nomura did say that he would bring out 1 KH game each year until KH3 gets released so yeah...

1) Kingdom Hearts 3D. 3D. 3D. For the 3DS. This could probably be avoided entirely, but its worth bringing up that the name screamed the 3DS. Not Wii U or PS3.

2) Nomura wanted all the games on one console. Going ahead and putting this on Wii U will go against that idea.

3) It can't be on the PS3 either due to its double screen interface.

4) It is also said that its hard to transfer from one company's console/handheld to another company's console/handheld. They always said that turning a PSP game into a PS3 game is easy since its very similar, while the DS (and this case 3DS) and the PS3 games share no similarity. Its the same reason why KH358/2 Days and Re:Coded are movies instead of games.

 

What I think is going to happen, is that it is going to be a movie with Kingdom Hearts III when it comes out. It can be a game though and maybe Square Enix will be like "firetruck it" and go ahead and make a remake on either the Wii U or the PS3 with changes.

If it had just contained shots of KH3D in HD, I would've been inclined to think that's just a KH3D remaster for PS3. However, the addition of KH3 scenes makes me think that's a KH3D remaster for PS4 (& Xbone?) with a KH3 demo in the vein of Final Fantasy Type-0+FFXV Episode Duscae. Even if the game's still in early development, assuming that this remaster gets released at the end of 2015, they'd surely have enough work done on the game by then to release a demo.

 

Guess we'll find out at Jump Festa in a couple of months!

TBH it being 2 year old doesn't mean anything. The Last of Us got a remaster 1 year after it was released while it didn't really need it.

KHIII is not coming until in about 2017.

 

So, to keep their cash flowing they need games for 15 and 16.

What better idea than to release Chi internationally in 15 and 3D in 16?

 

Even if KHIII were ready to be released in 16 as of now, remaking 3D will delay it further, I can tell you that.

I agree with everything you said. It would be hard to transfer a game from a handheld that's owned by a different company and make it on a console from a different company. And prople saying it should come out to the Wii U then wouldn't make scence since Nomura said he wanted it all on one console but he also said that he hates the fact that 3D has been left out of the HD treatment. The only way I can see this working is giving it the Days and Re:Coded treatment and just make it into cutscences but then when would you release it woth KH 3 that might cause some problems as well unless it's a whole you can't play KH 3 until you watch this but who knows we might find out at Jump Festa

Again, does nobody realize that it would be three years since its first release if it were released in HD next year!? Kingdom Hearts Re:coded was released 3 years prior to HD II.5 ReMIX, so why isn't anybody getting all butthurt over that? The "ooohhhh, it's too recent" argument isn't a very effective argument anymore.
