Riku did mention his parents in KH1, one day before Destiny Islands is taken by the darkness. He says something along the lines "We may never see our parents again" or something like that. Besides, I doubt it because Xehanort was an old man when Riku was only 5 years old, so it doesn't make that much sense.

It's a long explanation, so here goes.. At the end of Birth by Sleep, Ven's heart went inside Sora, and remained there until KH1, so the moment in KH1 when Sora stabbed himself to save Kairi, and he lost his heart, he lost Ven's heart too in the process. When Sora lost his heart, and Roxas was born, Roxas took the form of Ven instead of Sora's, and while that happened Ven's heart remained inside Roxas. This remains that way until the end of KH2, when Roxas and Sora me...

Oh I remember this song, it was played during the secret cutscene of KH2 showing BbS. Maybe that's why it was used for that clip in the first place.

I'm sure it'll have to do with Sora becoming (or already being) Keyblade Master, though I think too KH3 will be about the Keyblade War, and saving Terra, Aqua, Ven, Xion, Namine and Roxas, since Sora needs most of them (I dont know if all of them) to defeat Master Xehanort.

Be sure that Re:Coded is DEFINITELY the shortest. The only game I have left to play is BBS, but I'd say it does take quite some time to finish. But still I think, either Re:CoM or BbS for the longest game. KH2 appears to be long because of the worlds and second visits, but it's not so difficult.

Come to think of it, I dont think it's ever been explained. And I don't think I have any hypothesis as to what Guardian is, though I really doubt he is Xehanort from KH3. Good question though, you left me thinking about it..

I think the front cover you saw was the one from the novels, since as far as I know, there is no BBS manga.

I think there will be another Secret Boss for Riku, since Julius is for Sora, but I'm not entirely sure.

Nomura has a twisted mind, thus his imagination and way of thinking is something beyond mine. Everything that has happened so far in the KH plot is something I could've never thought of or imagined. So I believe this shocking ending is something I will never ever think of, or something that will never occur to me. Making theories is only making me want to see it more x'D so I'll just keep waiting, and die of shock once I finally see it.

I did. When I first got into Kingdom Hearts, KH2 was already out, so I bought KH1 and KH2, thinking that the plot would go on normally, since well, KH2 was the sequel. You can guess I was really confused when I started KH2, but after more investigation I realized I skipped Re:Chain of Memories. I finally got to play it this summer actually

In the subtitled version of the recent trailer of KH:DDD, Yen Sid mentions something about getting a 'Key of Sleep' and if they return, Sora and Riku will be Masters (I assume they must return with the key). It just occurred to me, could this Key have anything to do with awaking Ventus? What are your thoughts?
