That 2.9 thought came to me too...what would it be though? 1.5, 2.5, and 2.8 all combined? Or a very cheap demo of III? SE is running out of time, they can only squeeze for time so much until they either give up on Nomura's yearly trend of KH games, or release KH III between 2016 and 2018. -
Maybe Kh III will come out January 1st 2017 Anyways, you're probably right about it being out by 2017. Now I hope that this is the final game before KH III. I can't see what else they can do to buy time and keep the one yearly game trend going, well except for releasing a collection of I.5 and II.5 for PS 4.

Maybe they meant that it'll come at the end like how KH III's trailer was shown near the end of E3 after most of us had lost all hope for any info...that too could happen.

I thought he only meant 1.5 and 2.5 being ported to PS4. This could be a 3D remix with extra goodies to satisfy the fan base until Kh III (in other words buy themselves more time). Or that was the plan until they cancelled it (the OP brings up this possiblity). Nomura could also have lied...

This is what I'm hoping for, and it'll make the most sense naming wise compared to just a 3D HE version plus KH III demo. BbS v2 could be reworked into a interquel between 3D and III, or it could take place at the same time as 3D.

I also thought of Noctis' XV design when looking at Sora's new clothes. Riku's new outfit will likely be a mix of II and 3D's designs too. Kairi's new outfit may get some inspiration from her previous two outfits but I think it'll be more original looking.

I would like to find out what power Zelda's outfit gives Link since they all seem to give him abilities...maybe the ability to use Light Arrows?

I have a feeling that the remaining lights are those three (with the other four being Lea, SKR). Nomura said that the seven lights will be a surprise and Xion and Namine being lights over Aqua and the guys would be shocking.

I think you mean to say Gen 3 instead of 5 seeing how Gen 5 lacked traditional rematches outside of the PWT. Anyways I'll like to see a better story that doesn't have large gaps between important plot points.

I would like for Riku to finish off Ansem once and for all, Sora (and Roxas?) to fight Xemnes again and to finish him, and for Kairi to fight Young Xehanort until he is forced to time travel back to his original time.

What other big name games are coming out in December? I know several are coming out in late November, so that may impact sales since KH 2.5 is coming out the 2nd. I hope that KH III comes out a month or so after, if not a world wide release.

If it's not Sora then the Seven may end up being: Riku, Kairi, Aqua, Ventus, Lea, Mickey... and Xion (so that it'll be 3 girls and 4 boys instead of a 2 to 5 ratio). Actually it will be a big surprise for a lot of us if Xion ended up being the seventh as most probably expect Roxas to take that spot if Sora doesn't.

I think Riku's darkness arc is over. He's finally free from it's influence as mentioned in 3D.

I think Riku, and Aqua might. Perhaps Riku, Aqua, Ventus, and Sora with all four attacking and holding him down to remove the darkness Xehanort put into his body.

I do wonder if Daybreak town may actually be Twilight town, as Twilight is the opposite of Daybreak (could've been like CO, but I haven't played Chi so there's that ).
