Dave repliedI don't know. I think Sher Khan would be way more inclined to take a chunk out of Scar quickly, rather than doing a lot of plotting.

Dave repliedit loses its teeth. It's like he's afraid to try and make a dynamic character that actually has faults which need correcting, and I would like him to try and tell a new story. ( However, it is ironic that I actually find Nightmare Before Christmas to be the most un-Burton in this regard, because Jack’s character arc is one of trying to actually find an understanding with the world, and realizing that he did indeed have flaws.)Also, the use of exaggeration and monochrome in the art des...
Dave repliedAlso, the use of exaggeration and monochrome in the art design is done almost entirely without meaning or merit. He uses it to the point where any kind of artistic value is cheapened or removed. I get that it’s his idea of auterism, but I’d rather have the art design have some kind of unique interpretation within the story or movie, rather than the cookie cutter it has become.

Probably because I felt like I could relate to most of his characters so I didn't see any wrong with it at the time. But yeah, I can see how that would be problematic. /too lazy to come up with an intelligent response 'cause i'm distracted
