Square Enix Japan does not often include such a mandatory use of their servers. They are pretty traditional when it comes to their games, so I would not think this would be an issue to ever happen. If it did happen though I would be both shocked and pissed.

2.8 will be there no doubt, KH3 info will likely come from interviews alone. Square has a lot more pressing games to show off this year.

I am not sure he will physically return, but I am willing to bet that he will speak to Terra's mind and heart.

This all but confirms my theory that the localization teams are working very closely together in order to give KH3 a worldwide release. I am doubtful that he is finished though, especially since Nomura said a few months back that the ending of KH3 wasn't finished, and you would assume that Goofy will be in the ending in some way.

Just the classics: Pokemon, Digimon, Dragon Ball... The only other one I have watched is Sword Art Online

Nimoy, no question! His voice was made for a villain, and it is great that he was able to explore those more villainous roles in the last years of his life. Whoever voices MX next is going to have some large shoes to fill.

I don't mind it, especially now that we live in a world where patches are a thing and any issue can be fixed at any time. If you can't hold yourself back from being spoiled that is your problem. I spoiled myself with DDD and I had no one else to blame but myself. Personally since the last KH release, which was DDD, I have gained interest in many other game franchises so there will no doubt be something else for me to play and focus on while I wait for KH3 to get localized. We are starting to see more WW releases, but I don't think there will ever be a day when all AAA games receive that treatment. WW releases are not something we are entitled to as gamers, it is a privilege that the publishers offer us That being said, KH3 (not 2.8) will likely receive a WW release or same week release as it seems localization teams are working closely with it. People on KH13 are usually very respectful when it comes to spoilers for any game and the moderators do a great job of keeping on top of it.

They will no doubt be announcing the next mainline game. This time frame falls exactly in line with every other major Pokemon game announcement. Can't wait to see if they will do Pokemon Z, 7th gen, or possibly for their 20th, a truly definitive Pokemon console experience.

I don't think it will be as big as you think. It is likely that they will shoot for a WW release with KH3, which will probably place it fall/holiday next year. With that, it would still give Square Enix a lot of promotional time next year (E3, TGS, D23). Square Enix Japan (at least the first few divisions) will have a large focus this year on: 1) Kingdom Hearts 2.8 2) Final Fantasy XV 3) World of FInal Fantasy 4) Final Fantasy VII: Episode 1 (assuming that they aim to have it out for the games 20th anniversary) 5) Final Fantasy X-3 (Highly probable that we hear about it this year) 6) Final Fantasy XII HD 7) Nier: Automata 8) Star Ocean: Integrity & Faithlessness (as they push to revive the series) KH3 will likely have its presence, but Nomura said that this was a big year of work on KH3, which likely means promotion for it will still be here and there.

You just have to keep in mind that they have been launching and working on a lot of new projects (Game of Thrones, Tales from the Borderlands, Batman, the Marvel based one, Minecraft), they have probably been spread pretty thin for a while.

I've heard that it is just a mini-series, so they were probably just trying to capitalize on Michonne's popularity. I have also heard that it was a way for them to buy time as they work on Season 3.

Revelation will be sold as seperate DLC, but it cannot be bought till March 10; only the Special Editions have access to it right now. Without buying the Special Edition, the cheapest way to get the full game is to buy either the digital or physical version of either game, then buy the other version as DLC once you reach the chapter where you make the choice (should be $20) and then buy the Revelations DLC. You can still buy both physical copies of the games, but you will have to stick with the choice of that game and I do not believe that you receive all the benefits that you would from buying the other version as DLC.

As far as I'm aware, the code you get works more like DLC, so it won't actually work until you get your full copy of the game. I would just wait till you get your copy of the game to download Conquest so that nothing goes wrong.

Two max, based on what we've seen and heard so far it seems they will likely be focusing more on the Pixar-esque films (computer generated). Unreal Engine 4 and the art direction of KH3 seem to lend themselves beautifully to that whole category.

I mean you can't really blame the guy for having this much stress, the company has basically placed the future of the franchise in his shoulders and this is by far the biggest project he has ever had to work on. I have faith in him as everything he has shown has been promising. Hopefully the man will finally get a well deserved vacation and rest once the game releases

If you have played a Jak & Daxter game they are very similar to that.

I really wish that at this point that they had not called this a Final Fantasy game, because you know if it were called anything else it would be loved. This game is a masterpiece but just because it wasn't exactly what people wanted from a next gen FF they choose to tear it apart at every turn.

You put money on Lightning and Noctis being introduced at some point. Other than that I would love to see Caius, Noel, and Vincent.

I think Sony is getting smarter, but I agree that they must likely won't utilize their full potential. Last year's press conference was a complete fan-fiction that I don't think they will be able to replicate if they try to. Their biggest trump this year will be announcing the return of Crash and showing more of the FFVII Remake. As long as they did those two things it will still be a good conference (also considering that VR will likely own their stage this year).

It will probably work identically to the first two games where Sora can team up with them and one other Disney character to replace one of them (unless the improved hardware allows for a 3rd party member). The end game is where we may see some more options as to who can be in the party.

Like Sora96 said, Disney puts all sorts of constraints on what Nomura is allowed to reveal, and when you live stream something there is always the possibility that information can come out that wasn't supposed to. We all just need to accept that KH is a series where info comes out pretty much exclusively around gaming events.
