  1. Noice, thanks for the heads up. I'm actually headed to AX this week. If I don't play it myself, I'll at least watch the people who do.
  2. Researching stuff on grief for a fanfic I'm working on, then my tumblr dash gives me a random post about how to write grief. Is... is this a coincidence, or are the internet fairies stalking me?
  3. Oh man looks like I'm not the only one who thinks Kairi looks like she was aged down. For me it's mostly the haircut. I dunno, I just think it looks like something you'd find on a twelve-year-old. It might also have something to do with the dress, but I can't put my finger on what. Maybe the length?
  4. I'd say Ventus. With Terranort and (possibly) Aquanort around, seeing all three of the Wayfinder trio get 'Norted would get a little ridiculous. Plus, Ventus waking up and finding out both of his best buddies in the whole wide world(s) have been overtaken by darkness would make for some good drama.
  5. I gotta admit, I lol'd a bit on the inside that KH's story is so damn complicated than even its creator has trouble keeping track of it all. I'll also admit that Sora's not the easiest character to relate to. What's supposed to make him appealing is how idealized he is. He's different from characters like Roxas who do have pitiable circumstances and can be sympathized with, or Riku or Axel whose personalities and motives change overtime. Not Sora. He's just, like, "Adventures in Disney worlds and fighting baddies and helping people? Cool!" But he's so kind and powerful that you like watching him do it.
  6. I dunno, I love Roxas, but... really Nomura? He's the big secret? Favorite KH character and all that good stuff, but why does he need to be the top secret of the game? That is, unless revealing what's going on with Roxas would reveal an even bigger secret that Nomura's not in a position to disclose. That I can buy. Like... something along the lines of the real Kingdom Hearts? Y'know, that thing that's been in every title since KH1?
  7. A little bummed that the FF half is being minimized, but I still argue that the Final Fantasy-ness has always been a part of KH's infrastructure -- the magic and the fighting, the Save-the-World(s) business, the pretty boys. So maybe we won't see much of Leon and the gang, but hey, where else are you gonna see Donald Duck launching FF-style magic spells?
  8. Looks like they're walkie-talkies or phones. For how technologically advanced Radiant Garden and a few other worlds seem to be, I'm surprised that we're only just now seeing some form of long-distance communication. I mean, come on, they invented ships made of candy that can rocket to other worlds.
  9. Well, since death is more of a suggestion in KH than an actual thing that happens, I'm thinking Repliku got sent to the realm of darkness when he got offed. Riku did specifically plant his broken Way to the Dawn in the realm of darkness so Repliku could find it.
  10. Please reveal your words. There's been a shortage of words in the status updates.
  11. What, all the hype for POTC and whatnot, and not a single word on Repliku's return?
  12. Also I'm pretty sure a number of your friends have control over ice in some form or another. Like the duck. And the mermaid. And I think the skeleton. And don't forget Riku after DDD. ... sorry, Elsa, but in the context of KH you're not all that special. ...Then again, we can't all make ice castles.
  13. "That's amazing! You can control ice!" ... Sora? Earlier in your trailer, you just wrecked a bunch of Heartless with blizzard-elemental doodas. Also, please review the things in your spell menu.
  14. I voted Traverse Town because I like it in general, but my real answer is Christmas Town, because the winter weather will punch summer in its stupid hot face.
  15. Curl into a ball and wait for winter.
  16. KH1 is a Simple and Clean story about a boy with an oversized key running around in Disney worlds and learning valuable lessons about not giving into darkness and not trying to kill your best friend.
  17. In the end, it turns out that the dark seeker saga has all been a dream Sora has been having while in a coma. All his adventures and all the friends he made had all been a delusion his mind cooked up while asleep. After the credits, Sora at last wakes up, confused, and the first thing he sees is the tearful face of his mother. She leaves to alert the hospital staff of her son's awakening. Then Donald and Goofy burst through his hospital door, exclaim they finally found the one chosen by the key, bust him out of the hospital, and they fly away on their gummi ship to their first adventure.
  18. Buzz, you just watched Sora fight evil monsters, shoot fireballs, and summon magic teacups from thin air, but you draw the line at 'splitting worlds' when it comes to what you consider reality?
  19. Birthday happy! I've been neglectful lately so here's a waffle. ... I seem to have problems posting pictures. Here's an imaginary waffle. [waffle]
  20. The thought of Sora sitting on a bench just happily playing vidja is adorable and heartwarming to me. EDIT: ohmykingdomhearts it's even more adorable than I imagined. Look at that hammertime Sora! LOOK AT HIM
  21. Italian, 'cause of Destati and 'cause it sounds like a pretty language. Though, German would be pretty hardcore, too.
  22. I mean, "early April" can just be code for April Fool's Day. Jungle Book is a pretty good possibility, though.
