I see it differently. Korra was born on a pedestal, she had no trouble mastering 3 of the four elements, she was constantly protected and probably had advantages as the avatar. In the beginning she uses her title as a way to justify every single thing she does. In her mind, she’s the Avatar and so what she chooses to do must be respected. It gives a great character arc for Korra, but the supporting cast ultimately suffers from it. Giving depth to supporting characters was probably ATLA’s biggest strength and since Korra doesn’t do that, people seem to think it’s a failure, when in truth, it was never the creators intention to create character dynamics akin to that of ATLA. They wanted the focus on one person this time, not an ensemble. Anyway that’s how I see it.

I think Korra’s character arc is the best in the whole Avatar universe (yes, even better than Zuko’s, but that’s just my opinion) and the way it was used as the connecting thread of all 4 Korra books is genius. I just think that it’s like comparing apple and oranges. Both are fruits, both are round but you can’t really say which is better. Korra and ATLA are set in the same universe sure, but they aren’t trying to achieve the same things and they approach things differently. I think Korra can only be fully appreciated when you see it as it’s own thing and not as Book 4 of ATLA.

It’s a shame The Legend Of Korra had to follow Avatar The Last Airbender. It’s a great show but no one will ever see that because they consider ATLA to be without flaws and are always comparing both shows.

Excited to learn more about "The Dragon Prince". Sounds like a very interesting project.

KHIII's final scene should be Sora and Kairi sharing a paopu while watching the sunset. Everything would come full circle and it would match the lyrics to "Chikai" perfectly. After all, sharing a paopu is kind of like taking an oath.

I am loving Utada's album! Anata, Hatsukoi and Ozora de Dakishimete is my fave. She did that! My only issue with the album is "Too proud". As much as I like the instrumental and the RnB vibes it has, it's a bit out of place and I'm not feeling Jevon's verse.

Actually, can't wait to hear Utada's album next week. Sounds great so far.

Square Enix Presents is going to have a KH3 focused segment later today. All we know is that they’ll be playing the demo. I’m hoping they interview Nomura while they play the demo.

Tbh, I initially thought it was the hill in Daybreak Town but it doesn't look like it's daybreak so...

It depends where on Sunset Hill though... It doesn't look like the "balcony" area where you can see the train. But there are other hills around the area. Perhaps this is one of them?

Could Kairi and Lea be on Sunset Hill in the most recent trailer? If so, that would mean that they're in Twilight Town and that we probably play as either one of them during the tutorial section.
