Riku rid of his dark tendencies and powers in KH2. He redeemed himself with the Mark of Mastery exam to prove he isn't how he used to be. Lea, however, doesn't totally have a spot as one of the 7 lights from what I understand, considering Kairi is now in the picture.

I can't see them using both a world for Atlantis and a world for Treasure Planet. The two stories are very similar and having both would be too repetitive. I do hope they incorporate one of those though!

I'm betting they'll showcase something at both E3 and TGS, but will probably put more information on TGS to give them a little bit more time.

They've also done the same for FF XV. They've had BOTH listings up on Amazon since the games were announced at E3 2013. It's all place holder info, as said a million times by everyone else :oooo

If Disney was smart, they'd put their money into the new saga after the Dark Seeker saga. This line of kingdom hearts games attracts mostly people between the ages of 14-26, just because a majority of people who still pay attention to the games played KH1 at a very young age. Putting Marvel or Star Wars in a series that has already been so highly developed on classic Disney films, too many games to keep up with, and a generation that grew up on a different Disney setting would be a setback. Gathering a new generation of people and a new set of ideals on a different saga would attract more people to invest in the new games without having any thoughts as to what the games should be like.

Whatever happens I'm loving this idea.

I'd love to see some keyblades from BBS make a comeback. Whatever happens, I'd still like to see some new ones as well.

So glad that re-orchestrated the music was a thing. Plus, I don't think I really realized all of the differences until I was listening to the original KH2 soundtrack in my car one morning ahah it sounds SO different. Overall, it gives the music a little bit more of a realistic feel. Still really ticked off about not doing all of BBS, probably my favorite soundtrack out of all of the games.

I honestly would have rather had Square taken their time fixing everything and making look great vs. the mediocre quality we've gotten. Taking out more time to fix things like animation and even re-orchestrated BBS would have made the experience so much different.

FROM WHAT I'M AWARE OF, on Standard Mode, you can max out every ability for the drive forms, but normal Sora will only reach lvl 3 high jump, quick run, glide, etc. Am I correct when I say this?

KH first got me into video games! Also Kingdom Hearts as a whole inspired me to become a musician, believe it or not. I play 3 different instruments and is all thanks to the beautiful KH music!

I was thinking closer to 2 years, maybe a little less. They're obviously on top of things with both games and are trying their best, so maybe we'll get lucky and they'll only be a year and a half apart. But with the lead programmer leaving the FF team, who knows how production plans will go.

To be honest, I'm not getting my hopes up until we see more progress with FF XV. From the beginning they had always said FF XV was the priority and will release before KHIII. If FF XV isn't at TGS this year, it could mean a much later release date for KHIII, sadly.

The only reason why I'm so pissed about it, is because they had a survey and everything to make sure they had a solid idea of what the fans wanted, and THEN they throw this at us. Had they not done the survey I probably wouldn't have been surprised.

So the preorder for 2.5 with the limited edition pin, is that all we're going to get for the preorder bonus?

As for the opening sequence, I hope they do recap the entire series, but also move on from it. The opening for DDD pretty much covered everything in that sense, so if they could do something similar to that opening along with adding things from KH3, I feel like it'd be a pretty solid opener. Prolouge/Tutorial: I'm rooting for the whole Young Xehanort/Eraqus feel, but having Kairi playable wouldn't be terrible either.

I was really hoping for a new protagonist D: I was hoping they would keep Sora, Riku, Kairi, and a few others and keep them in the games to sort of guide a next generation of characters. Something similar to the FF characters in the game, but maybe a little more involved. I think it'll be odd still having Sora as the main character after the Xehanort saga, but that's just my opinion.

I remember on the japanese KHII site they showed a lot of Twilight Town/Roxas. That's all I really remember from that period, I was quite the youngster.

I feel like putting Kadaj and the gang in KHIII would be a great idea! It seems as though the FFVII characters in the game need a new conflict.

I saw we all take a chill pill on this KHIII release date. We've learned how to be patient, and just because we got a few trailers and it's up and coming doesn't mean we need to be so anxious. Let Square take their time in making it the best they can! And in the meantime, we can focus on trying to finally release FFXV. I'm honestly not the biggest fan of FF games, but with Nomura directing, I am TOO excited for this to be a thing.

I'm a little on the fence, just because Noctis reminds me of a much darker and more mature version of Sora. I feel like they are similar in a few ways. Maybe it's just the feel Nomura gives off in the FFXV trailers or something. I think it would be cool to use Noctis, depending on the context of which they use him. I'd personally like to see him be more like the FFVII characters in the game, fighting alongside Sora and whatnot. BUT at the same time, having him as a side boss wouldn't be such a bad idea either. If we were to see him in any world, I'd agree with it being Radiant Garden. I can't see Noctis really fitting anywhere else. Stella could fit pretty well with everything, once again, depending on how they use Noctis, etc. etc.

I personally love the musical, and I hope Disney will keep it true to its dark story. I'm actually really excited to see Meryl Streep as the witch!
