I remember playing the first game and wondering what Ratchet's life was like on Veldin. It's cool to see him working as an actual mechanic to pay the bills.

lol it's tied 13 - 13. While I can see the argument that Aqua is the main character since she's ultimately the one who survives, I don't think it's really accurate just because she has more screentime. Ultimately, all three stories focus on each character and just because Aqua continues into the Final Episode doesn't mean that makes her the main character of the whole game. BBS is about TAV regardless of which character you get to play as the longest.

Well I just made it to mission 100 in only a couple days.

So, Ava created the Keyblade wielder tradition that survives all the way until BBS with Masters Eraqus, Xehanort & Yen Sid, right? That whole thing essentially started with her.

Nomura loves his Greek and ancient European languages, though. I mean most people in Japan or Europe aren't gonna known that 'Chi; is a letter of the Greek alphabet and yet he threw it in as the name of the X-blade in BBS. It's not really that far a stretch to assume he would use the latin words for the seven deadly sins to represent the downfall of each Foreteller, just to seem all smart and impress dummies like us.

I still say the designs behind the Foretellers is too accurate for only TAV to be reincarnations. The philosophy of past lives in Adventure Time doesn't necessarily mean Nomura plays it the same way. Unicornus and Ava fit too perfectly as Riku and Kairi. Why else would they all be designed that way if not for some connection to the modern-day heroes? Not to mention, but just because they share outfit color schemes doesn't mean they all 'look' the same beyond that. For example, the Anguis Foreteller could look entirely different from Aqua or Unicornus different from Riku. Or, the hoods signify that they do look the same and Nomura doesn't want to spoil that yet. idk Ephemera and Skuld could also just be OCs that Nomura threw in just because.

Yeah I've been playing pretty much nonstop since it released and I've only just returned to Dwarf Woodlands again.

This. It's definitely worth playing just as a fix until 2.8 comes out, but it's definitely 'eh', to me. Which I figured it would be anyway but I was just irritated that it took so long to come out because it's so 'eh'.

That's too optimistic to be true. More likely, Square is doing everything cool with Japan and is just going to hock the game off to everybody else once they're done with it.

Well, if he's not then I'm gonna feel kinda gipped. We've spent so many games with either Xehanort or versions of him. Switching it up at the last second would be Mass Effect 3 levels of lame. Even if it turns out that Xehanort is a reincarnated version of an ancient evil or something, if he's still the same guy, it doesn't matter to me. As long as HE is the big bad, that's fine.

Maybe they'll fix Osaka's floaty fight animation problem.

I really only like it because they made Sora mostly intelligent again, if only for one game. It's one reason I despise the Re:Coded cutscenes in 2.5 for dumbing him down even more.

Eh, it's alright. The game's supposed to be boring by design, it's about Roxas's mostly daily life in the Organization. It's basically Fanfiction: The Game. Still kind of enjoyed it anyway sort of maybe.
