It's been telegraphed since the beginning of the first game that Sora and Kairi liked each other and it only intensified after the first game. I know people focus on Sora and Riku to satisfy their need for yaoi pairings but it's been obvious from the first scene on Destiny Islands that Sora and Kairi cared about and were interested in each other. I've always believed that Kingdom Hearts III will be the 'culmination' of this relationship teasing. Whether they actually kiss or not, who knows. -

I can see them announcing new Disney worlds at both TGS and Jump Festa (Nomura did say we would see all of them before release) but waiting for D23 Japan in February to announce a confirmed release date.

Confirmed. I'm on quest 640 and my progress is at 63%. The percentage encompasses how many quests you've done as well as how many Mickey heads you fill in. As for if that points to when the story will end, given the trajectory so far, it looks like it might end right around when KHIII releases. (Mid-late 2018)

Nomura would never mention another world in an interview like that off-handedly. While the possibility of it happening someday is there, it's definitely not going to be in Kingdom Hearts III.

They're not so much 'rescuing' Bo Peep as looking for her after Andy sold her/threw her away. I doubt KHIII is really going to even bring her up since Pixar probably wants to keep that story thread for the sequel. We're probably only going to be finding Andy's other toys that appeared in Toy Story 3. (ie. Jessie, Bullseye, Slinky, Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head and maybe even Barbie)

It's certainly possible, even probable, that Nomura has taken a look at Disney's new films coming out before they were released.

My prediction is mid-late 2018 for Japan and very late 2018 to early 2019 for everyone else.

How is that the case? If the release was next year (which I'm not saying it is) there is no reason to think we'd know about it any sooner. If anything, right about now would be about the right time to announce a release date of late 2018 as it's usually announced a year and a half before actual release.

Merlin is too OP Square pls nerf But no, I don't think Merlin really makes sense as a party member. Supporting character works just fine. What I really want is Cloud as a party member.

I mean I love this game but Japan's already well past the point where we get to the real meat of new story for Unchained and here we English-speakers are going fishing in the Daybreak Town sewers. Ugh.

While I like the idea, I don't think she'd entirely lose the hair-antennae. lol If anything, they might droop a little lower, but not be gone completely. She looks a little plain without them. But to be honest, I think even Larxene's original person had her normal hair, anyway. We've seen far crazier hairstyles on 'somebodies'.
