  1. i'm tempted to. i'd want them to take a few good years between the release of KH3 and KH4 so we can have some downtime. it'll help the series to avoid fatigue (inb4 too late) if KH3 turns out to be more of DDD then yea i'll probably drop the series from my radar. i haven't really enjoyed any of the games released post-KH2 except for BBS, and even then it's not like i love that game or anything. it's just serviceable. i'll always at least look back on the original trilogy fondly though. KH1, CoM and KH2 were a solid trilogy and i'll definitely go back to replay them from time to time. everything after that has just been disappointing.
  2. got worried this was going to impact the actual industry of animation lol honestly i don't pay the live action movies much mind, although i may finally go see one whenever the Aladin remake comes out as it's one of my favorite Disney movies. so far i just haven't been seeing the appeal of the live action remakes. maybe it's because the ones we've gotten so far were based off of movies i was originally indifferent towards. Jungle Book? Beauty and the Beast? Pete's Dragon? all passes for me. i don't hate the originals but i'm just "eh" on them.
  3. Jack Sparrow just because Nomura loves pulling that kind of garbage. hell i could see him turning it into an entire game.
  4. i'm definitely all for a boss battle with Davy Jones that takes place on a ship getting tossed around in a whirlpool during a storm. i'd want them to get really crazy with it
  5. it depends on the game and how fun the alternatives to melee combat are. for KH2 i'll use magic, drives and summons just to spice things up a bit and add some spectacle to the fights.
  6. a blind man could have seen that one coming go ahead and put KH3 in the "and beyond" category just to be safe.
  7. going based off their track record i'm looking forward to the Sony conference. i'll be trying to watch all of them just to see if any cool reveals are made.
  8. push KH3 to the bottom of your gaming priorities and then play some other games in the meantime. that will help pass the time until we get news about KH3. people should know by now not to live and die on the possibility of KH3 news. personally i say let them do whatever they need to do to make this game come out. i wouldn't want to end up with another FFXV where the game gets drip fed content post-launch and requires significant changes to the story and gameplay.
  9. think you're looking too much into this tbh anytime you see some religious symbol in this series it's more likely there as nothing more than a prop. it's not there as a hidden meaning or an implied religious connection. if it was in the original Disney movie then it's likely to be carried over in the game simply for the fact that it was in the Disney movie in the first place. whatever meaning the symbol had in the movie does not translate to the game because the Disney worlds are basically interactive dioramas for players to travel through. the movies are adapted into the game and watered down for the enjoyment of the player. it's possible that at one point in early development for the game that Chernabog was going to be the source of the heartless, seeing as he might have been the final boss, but since that's not the game we got i think it's safe to assume that as the series currently stands, the heartless did not spawn from him.
  10. hardest difficulty available. if this is the last game of the saga (barf) then i'm going to go in looking for a challenge. hopefully a fair challenge, though. no cheap shot enemies please.
  11. but do they need to return? new varieties of Heartless and Nobodies would work just as well imo
  12. none of 'em. putting Star Wars in KH would come off like some terrible fan-fiction brought to life. KH has a nice thing going with the Disney movies. it gives it a unique flavor, even if the Disney aspect has been downplayed heavily in recent games. the world doesn't need more Star Wars either. the franchise already exists in the form of video games elsewhere so i don't see why we need to add it to KH, an unrelated video game.
  13. i would love to see a sequel to The Evil Within announced. the first game felt like wasted potential that could really be improved in a sequel. also want to see something from the Resident Evil 2 Remake. i'm hoping they still kept the fixed camera angles from the original but if they end up changing it it won't be the end of the world. if they can nail the atmosphere i'll still enjoy the experience. those are really the only two things i'm hoping to happen at E3. as for what might be revealed or shown off i've got no clue. i might try to avoid pre-E3 leaks so it'll be a surprise if something gets revealed out of nowhere.
  14. i wouldn't mind seeing Pirate of the Caribbean return if only because i want there to be a boss fight with Davy Jones that takes place on a ship being tossed around in a maelstrom.
  15. Ventus well i guess i enjoyed the way he was portrayed in KH2
  16. well nomura did say he was originally meant to be the main protagonist
  17. doesn't the switch cartridge have low space or something? I guess if they down-scaled the game significantly it would work but idk if it's worth it. might be better to hope for a KH game made with the Switch in mind.
  18. i'll usually sit on the end results screen and listen to the version of Dearly Beloved. i mean i really only do it for KH1 and KH2. KH2 especially because the version that plays feels very fitting for ending off the game.
  19. i just assumed Ventus was 15 and Terra and Aqua were 18.
  20. well there are other games out there to play. no need to be constantly drip fed KH related games. it leads to fatigue.
  21. does racing count? perfect title to use for it "Kingdom Karts"
  22. we probably won't get anything, tbh. although if we do get a trailer i sure hope it ends with "Still in Development." i mean come on Square, we know it's now in development. just update the phrase already.
  23. if it's not part of the Disney Animated Classics lineup then it's chances are slim.
  24. i just hope Donald and Goofy don't get kicked to the curb in favor of the original KH characters. they're friends of Sora's too. it'd be fun to fight alongside them at some point for the final battle. KH2 handled this pretty well where you could choose who to have in your party at the start of the end game but then when it came time for the final boss you got Riku. wonder if they'd so a similar mechanic where before the final boss you can choose which 2 of the seven lights you want to fight directly with you.
  25. is there anything that suggests it's for a video game? i mean it could easily be some side thing Disney is doing that requires the voices of their "Disney Princess" lineup
