  1. love the stuff this guy puts out. very in depth videos. nothing like a long and detailed looked at video games!
  2. chances are if they didn't think it was a worthy use of their time and effort last time then they probably feel the same way this time.
  3. i'll probably get it. i was planning on buying 999 off of amazon but now that this is coming out i may hold off on that.
  4. it'd be cool if those themes played Dearly Beloved for background music. wonder what sort of bonuses (if any) the other regions will get? the themes look nice and i actually dig the mini acrylic stands.
  5. it's possible. if those dessert heartless were in KH3 i can't imagine where they'd go besides a Wreck it Ralph world inside the Sugar Rush game.
  6. Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Gravity Rush 2 Resident Evil 7 Kingdom Hearts 1.5+2.5 Persona 5 Nier: Automata and Nioh the titles in bold are all definite buys. the last two are more of a wait and see kind of thing. although to be honest it's less "wait and see" and more "wait and give my wallet a chance to breathe." all the games i'm planning on buying come out within a span of 3 months, with 3 being in January, 1 in February and another 1 in March. it's madness.
  7. Retsuprae for their great riffs on LPs and their Wrongpuraes. Crowbcat for his fantastic and spot on videos regarding things like Awkward Minecon Moments, the Battleborn disaster and VR Gaming. MatthewMatosis and Joseph Anderson for their extremely in depth reviews and gameplay analysis videos. TheGamingBritShow and HyperBitHero for their entertaining and solid think piece-style videos covering many gaming topics. and SuperBunnyHop for his reviews and interesting opinions on games. all of them are great content creators imo.
  8. well if we're just listing the best games we played this year regardless of their release date: Resident Evil 4 Bloodborne Ratchet and Clank (PS4 remake) Gravity Rush -Remaster- Resident Evil Remake God of War 2 and Rocket League
  9. well the Seekers of Darkness weren't a thing at the time when the worlds were beginning to fall to darkness so i don't think it would make sense. unless the Realm of Darkness exists in the past, present and future. it moves through time with no straight forward path allowing things from both the past and the future to exist together at the same time. now THAT would be a great concept to introduce to the world and make it stranger. but i feel like they won't go that route, and so i'll just say we won't see a Seeker of Darkness because the seekers were not a thing at this point in the timeline.
  10. maybe it was too time consuming. i mean didn't the KH2 manga just finish last year or something? can't imagine he'd want to jump on to another KH game adaption so soon. i'm not too upset about it, honestly. we got KH, CoM and KH2 completed and that's all i'd really need. and yea i know we got 358/2 Days too but...mehhh
  11. i'm gonna miss the OP Final Form though. made level grinding a blast.
  12. nah there's no reason to. the only reason we got new scenes for Re:Coded was because technically it was all new. they didn't exactly go out of their way to include those newer scenes. at most, maybe we'll get a theme, which i would dig. unlocking a KH theme for each game that plays whichever Dearly Beloved comes with the game the theme is based off of.
  13. good. i was looking at the volumes i owned and wondering if Yen Press was ever going to release the rest. seems like we got a flood of KH novels and mangas and then they just stopped. guess they had to catch up?
  14. i doubt it. PS4 has a more developed install base and the Switch doesn't. at least not right now, obviously. it's more of a worthy investment to just put all the games on to the PS4, especially since KH3 will also be there. fans have always complained about how the series is spread across too many consoles and SE have responded by putting the entire series on PS4 (i mean, wait a few months and then that'll be the case). so really, when 1.5+2.5 come out for PS4 they can throw there hands up and say "Alright that's that. Time to move on!" and not give the Switch a second thought.
  15. well first off i don't think i mentioned anything about controllers. that isn't really an issue when it comes to why SE has abandoned the Xbox One. secondly, 1000 sales is awful. it shouldn't be a surprise that SE is treating the Xbox One like a lost cause for them. it makes more sense for them to double down on the PS4 and push their games hard on to the system where they're finding more success. the PS4 is popular in Japan and NA so logically they'll want to focus their energy into appealing to that market. the real moment of truth will be when FFXV launches and we get the sales numbers for the Xbox One version.
  16. i enjoyed DDD's for being able to recap the series so well fit to the tune of Hikari Orchestral, and the KH2 intro, mainly for the song. the first intro is an honorable mention just for nostalgia and also the song. 0.2's intro is pretty good too. the remix of Simple and Clean really gives it a more upbeat tone that goes well with the brighter colors used.
  17. make them level up together. who wants to increase the amount of level grinding by 15, or however many characters are in that game. why is there a fan remake of Days, actually? was that something people were really pining for? more Days?
  18. i remember enjoying the first 3 PS2 HP games. funny how similar they are to the Zelda games. i feel like if you looked over the gameplay for the entire series of HP games, you'd find a pattern between what sort of gameplay they went with and what was most popular at the time. i believe over the course of the games, they had -Zelda-esque, dungeon explorations -Co-op mission based levels -Open world exploration and -Third Person Shooting
  19. They only announced KH3 and FFXV for Xbox One because at the time there was no clear cut winner between the PS4 and the Xbox One. now, a few years later, it's very clear that the PS4 is a more profitable investment for Square, hence why they haven't announced any major JPRG/RPG titles for it. i think the last game they put out on it was FF Type-0 HD and that apparently sold very poorly. at this point, SE just don't see the Xbox One as a profitable system for their main games. it would look bad for them to announce a statement saying they're canceling the Xbox One version of KH3, so at this point they'll just go ahead and release it but not make a big fuss about it since it. i'll agree that it isn't fair for the people that own an Xbox One and wanted to play JRPGs on it but...i mean let's face it. i don't think an Xbox system has ever really been the best place to play JRPGs. typically, you go to a Sony console for that sort of thing. i think the 360 tried to pick up more JRPGs last gen but obviously it didn't get very far. buying an Xbox system to play JRPGs on is just not a smart move nowadays.
  20. i assumed it was the Castle of Dreams. Considering this is the intro to 0.2, and the Castle of Dreams is going to appear as a playable area, it would make sense to include it.
  21. the 60fps sold me. KH2FM in 60fps? dream come true. now if they actually fix the load times and bugs we'll be golden. edit: for those with Amazon Prime, you can get this amazing collection for only $40. yep. 4 games, 2 movies, 60fps, all on one disc for 40 bucks. that just blows my mind.
  22. if i'm looking up something like an item location guide or whatever i'll always go for a walkthrough, or just a gameplay video with no commentary. i actually stopped watching a lot of LPs since they all seem to be obnoxious. lots of the popular LP'ers all act like cartoon characters with wacky voices and facial expressions and it just strikes me as forced. i'm sure younger children make up a good part of their audience and so they tend to cater towards that demographic. that being said, not all LP'ers do act this way. just the insanely popular ones. ChipCheezum does solid LPs and puts a ton of effort into them. MatthewMatosis also does an occasional gameplay commentary video where he discusses interesting facts and information about whatever game he is showing. I think the most recent one he did was on the first Devil May Cry game. it's very informational and i think that's a sign of a quality LP. i prefer it when the person doing commentary can give interesting facts or insights on the game and it's not just a very bad and long observational humor bit.
  23. chances are the X-Blade will be formed by a big flash of light, like what happened in BBS. i doubt there's any point in trying to understand the science behind a magic weapon that only forms when 13 people of evil fight 7 people of good. so i doubt anyone is going to have their heart yanked out. although if all of their hearts are tied to the X-Blade, similar to what happened with Ven in BBS, will they be able to destroy it if it forms? should they even fight at all? what constitutes a fight? what if Sora goes after Xehanort while everyone else just dodge rolls around and kills time, not technically fighting. Kill Xehanort and the whole 13 vs 7 fight gets thrown off by a number, thus ruining the plan. what if mickey casts Stopza on a Darkness and they clobber the hell out of him and, again, take away one member of the 13 Darknesses? do they have to fight at the exact same time? that's going to be hard to pull off when the Lights are outnumbered. are 6 of those Darknesses understudies in case someone dies to a cheap "friendship is magic" attack? and yea, just how IS this keyblade war going to go? are all these no name keyblade wielders going to pop out of nowhere like "Yo I felt a disturbance in the force darkness. what's going on?" or will the ghosts of past keyblade wielders return the the keyblade graveyard and fight for some reason. will there even be a war? the first war was fought over Kingdom Hearts. i'm pretty sure the Lights don't want KH this time, they just want to stop Xehanort. bottom line, there's a lot about KH3's story that doesn't make sense. i'll be genuinely surprised if i finish the game thinking "wow they handled all these plot threads really well."
  24. hmm so this isn't a big cross over game featuring the various protagonists of past Assassin's Creed games in chibi form? don't know where i got that idea from.
