  1. My way of looking at it is: these are paid professionals who do this for a living; therefore regarding they aren't completely incompetent then let them get on with it. Also as a company; I can't see SE allowing anything Which would cause a bad reaction at all. That saying; I do respect people's views regarding the air combos and OP ability/spell. However seeing as AI is supposed to be greatly improved, this should diminish the risk of an OP move. Until we physically play the game, this is one ' fear' we won't be able to tell. Overall; things seem ok thus far; but continually knocking people paid to a job; doesn't achieve anything and none of the games gameplay has been an overall disaster and Balloon was useful against dealing with Julius
  2. I see no reason to doubt your opinion; however I would add with world speculation- I'd take a Disney world announcement and also see San Fransokyo at last and hopefully a new original world ( hoping for Radiant Garden still). Show a few more transformations and hopefully a boss fight other than the Rock Titan and then focus on 2.8 in more depth
  3. seriously; when you think about it; it could be hugely significant; I doubt it, but it could be an interesting plot twist to cover
  4. I was recently watching some old cutscenes from the first KH game and something Triton said actually got me wondering, who exactly was he referring to when he was talking about the role of the Keyblade Wielder; it was along the lines of ' As the Keyblade Wielder, you must already know- one must not meddle in the affairs of other worlds.' Ok how does he know any of this? Maleficent knew from Xehanort and thus how the Council of Villians knew; but how does Triton know about the other worlds? How did he know what the keyhole was and where it was located? And also what Keyblade Wielder has he encountered before? Sora- he just met and already had the knowledge ( Riku and Kairi can too be ruled out for obvious reasons) TAV- stating the obvious that Atlantica wasn't in BBS and it seems unlikely they visited worlds before then Mickey- possibility; but again unlikely since BBS seemed to be the first time he ventured away; maybe between the 10 years gap; but I cannot think of a reason for him going there at all This leads us to the interesting possibility that Xehanort might have visited the world in the past; that might explain why Triton is Initially sceptical of the Keyblade due to Xehanort's past actions there.. Or it could be a brand new character? Either way; this guy possess info most don't tend to have ame is obviously referring to someone he has had contact with.... Any ideas?
  5. I doubt we'll ever know; but all of a sudden the genocide idea is actually not looking too crazy at all
  6. Ok this will probably around extremely bizarre, but I was recently playing KH2.5 and got to the World That Never Was. This is where we get to the issue that's bugged me from the first time I played KH2, Who designed/built the city there? Seriously when you get to the area where you are about to enter the castle; look down at the city area it's huge. That suggests there must be a purpose for the city; however we've only seen Organization XIII/True Organization members based there and they live in the castle ( which again alludes to a population being ruled over). I doubt the regular nobodies like your dusks Rock up to their houses after a day's work and even if they were used for storage; come on there's thirteen of them; you don't need that much storage to build a city and they can move about using corridors of Darkness; so if they run out of items ( spoof item- spice; Agrabah is easily accessible). If there is a population living there; then why hasn't anything been hinted? Surely some signs of life must be visible. Unless and this is where things get dark; The World That Never Was is like a post nuclear world and instead of a nuclear attack; the regular nobodies ' relocated' the residents, thus causing more heartless and more nobodies increasing their numbers. It might seem a bit bizarre as I said; but it has seriously bothered me haha; and once you have read the part where all the residents have been killed/turned into heartless then your next play through through the World That Never Was will never be seen in the same light again
  7. My ID is 3233; I'd join you Do your still have room in your party?
  8. Random Thought- but if we play up to the Keyblade War; then do you think the battleground will he Daybreak Town or another New World?
  9. Name: Seyin ID: 3233 Level: 3 ( been playing for 20 mins or so!) Why did I join?- The snake is cunning creature and Anguis looks cooler than a unicorn ( shots fired at Unicornis) Party- No I'm not though I'd be up for joining people Medal: Beast
  10. I have a love/hate relationship with her. I hate how she is well ( starts with b and ends in h) to Sora/Roxas and the others, that being said her sadistic nature makes her unique and well she is satisfying to beat as a boss. She might be a ghastly person; yet at least she has a personality that isn't drier than paint ( no prizes for who that is). Also she is enigmatic since we don't know her true person's identity. I'm hoping they make her an outcast of a social group ( hence her sadistic nature to gain ' power over others and why she wants to take over the organization- it could also explain why she became a heartless in the first place)
  11. That sounds pretty cool ( your drawing), for me personally it makes the most sense; having a quick gap would seem too rushed for me. Also for your last question; expect something soon on the issue my friend I disagree with you; whilst KH3 is the main priority for everyone. At the moment ,excluding Unchained Chi ( from tomorrow onwards), we are currently in a period with no news on KH3. Therefore in order to keep things engaging and not the same old same old, looking head I feel is definitely more engaging. We can speculate on a variety of different topics; spark debates and also more importantly look for clues when Kh3 is released. I mean we could discuss for the 100000th time what world we want to see in Kh3 again? We could list our fears for Kh3 for the 10000th time again; but at least this is a fun way of engaging with people during a time where this is little really too. However, that being said once the news starts to come out again; then that's the prime time to return to KH3. Mostly this is for fun during a very quiet/dry period of time
  12. Hello again! A couple of days ago I uploaded a post regarding the next saga's antagonist/s and decided to carry on with my ' future discussions. In today's discussion, I will be talking about the possible Time period between KH3 and Kh4. As a heads up I plan on uploading 5/6 of these discussions- the next being: reasons to visit worlds; new enemy types; futures/roles of the current protagonists and plots too. Without further adieu let's begin with the facts. We know KH4 will still have Sora as the main protagonist so that rules out the series being set 100 years afterwards etc ( forget time travel we will be realistic. I will split this topic into 4 sections and debate the possibilty of it being correct. 1) 1-5 years after KH3- For me persoanlly this seems a bit too unrealistic. If the series is to truly advance then we need to truly build up a sense of tranquility in the worlds and build up the threat. If we jump into the new saga so soon after the Xehanort saga; then that undermines the need for peace beforehand as in a sense everything would seem redundant. 2) 10 years- I personally think this would be the ideal time gap between the games. Firstly; after the Keyblade War, it makes Sense to have a longer period of time. This would also give the new antagonist enough time to establish their plans without it looking like they were planning during the Xehanort saga and thus undermining Xehanort as the true villain of the first Saga. Also Square could re design an older Sora; without him looking too drastically different from what we recognise him as now. Thus keeping a nostalgic feel to the saga. 3) 15-20 years- This is plausible; though already pushing the boundaries for being unlikely. A gap this big would need a lot of explaining what has happened during this time gap; what has happened to precious characters and also the characters would look a lot different to what we recognise them. That saying; it would be an Interesting period as we could See Sora in an Eraqus from Birth By Sleep role and possibly having to come out of ' retirement'/ mentoring to save the worlds again. 4) plot twist- in the past! As much as it pains me to say this; but we have to be prepared for some time travel having a major impact on KH3. There is a possibility; that Sora could end up travelling back in time at the end of the game. Whilst this is extremely unlikely and unpopular; it's worth discussing. This would allow square to focus on a new antagonist ( PerhapsXehanort's master?); focus away from the heartless and still keep Sora the same age he is now. Overall; I'd personally have a decade gap; this would allow the needed time for the characters to move on from Xehanort's Saga; you wouldn't need overly too much fill in details about the characters and you could them start a fresh. Whilst it would be fun to see Sora in a mentor role; I feel as if that would be a Saga too early, it would also be realistic to see Sora able to keep his abilities from KH3 without IT seeming a bit weird to be seeing a Middle Aged Sora doing flow motion. What do you guys think?
  13. Deep JungleAtlanticaMonstro Just kidding- in all seriousness: Port Royal; Notre Dame and Halloween Town for Disney Worlds
  14. This is my opinion alone so please don't kill me- but it's Xion for me. I find her extremely tedious; her death scene is her redeeming feature as it actually contributes to something; her voice actor annoys me- it's one tone throughout; at least the like's of Riku/Lea/Roxas you can tell the emotion in the character. I understand the role she played for the lore; but I didn't feel a connection to her; the Axel and Roxas dynamic was heart whelming and the ' so long buddy scene' I found arguably to be one of the more emotional in the series. Compared to the other organization members she didn't add anything; even Larxene's sadistic natire was unique to her; such as Vexen's science obsession. When you think about it; Xion liked seashells, yeah that's her unique contribution there. No doubt she will return in Kh3; but I feel this is for fan satisfaction rather than anything sadly.
  15. I live in the UK; does anybody now how to set up a US account? Any help would be appreciated then I can play with you guys too
  16. As we know Kingdom Hearts is well known for some truly iconic villains; however the end of the Dark Seeker Saga will see an end ( hopefully!) to the likes of Ansem sod; Xemnas; Master Xehanort etc. That saying; whilst optimistic; looking ahead to future is an interesting topic ( As a head's up- I've got a few ideas of where the series can go). However, the starting topic for everyone today is; the next antagonist. I will list a few ideas I have myself and I am curious to what people either want to see/have opinions. I've decided to split this discussion into 2 sections; the first focus on an Individual antagonist. The second will consider a group of antagonists.Since KH has used both categories; one cannot be sure what will happen which is why I'm covering both. Individual: 1) hidden force antagonist- for those of you who enjoy Star Wars; consider this antagonist to be the Kingdom Heats version of Snoke. Somebody who was very aware of the last saga's events yet played no major role. I see this as plausible in all honesty; it would be easy to either have this figure appear at the end of a secret movie in KH3 and say something cryptic. The hidden force antagonist would then possess knowledge of why Xehanort was defeated and also possess knowledge regarding Sora and co and would be able to focus on a way to defeat Sora. Also I'd like this antagonist to have motives unknown to the audience completely; and as the new series advances slowly realise to our horror that this person is in fact worse than Xehanort and an equal if not greater challenge. 2) enemy from the light- this has been mentioned before; but it's an interesting concept. One would imagine having various darkness antagonists might seem a little mundane; therefore having an enemy so fixated on the light would add a whole new element to the series. It's a fact that light and darkness coexist together and that being said absolute darkness has been shown before; so perhaps absolute light would have a negative impact too. Also having to see Sora fight against a light sided enemy would be very interesting. Way I see this potential working is that the GoLs win in KH3; tilting the balance towards the light; too much light could create a corrupt enemy hell bent on the complete eradication of darkness on the worlds to prevent another war. 3) friends become enemies- this would be controversial to see; but perhaps we are over looking the next antagonist? Perhaps they are right in our sight the whole time? It would be to some a massive outrage if a protagonist became an enemy. That being said; it is a possibility. War changes people; and seeing as KH3 is going to be dark; it's natural to assume that either a light will die/sometjing terrible will happen. Carrying on; guilt could turn to hate/anger and could see a protagonist become rogue ( trying to avenge a friend/ having a serious grudge against the others) and thus come into conflict. In all honesty; 1 seems the most plausible: 2 would be my ideal choice and 3 could seem luck lustre; yet if done right could have a huge emotional impact. Let us move on to the discussion about group antagonists. 1) the Schemers- the use of will has come up a lot recently with regards to keyblades etc. Now imagine there is an outside group scheming the schemer ( Xehanort). Having a secret group would add an Interesting element to series and similar to TWEWY; each numbered game could have one of the members being defeated. A rough example could be: the worlds are in peace; then one of the group starts ' the masterplan' and at the end is defeated by Sora; however to make it interesting; you could have Sora ask whether they were involved with Xehanort; to which the defeated member could either reply- there's something worse coming/ or even more chilling- Xehanort had no idea he was being used etc. 2) Revolution- after the constant heartless/nobody influx; individuals on various world's instead of thanking the GoLs become angry and start to persecute keyblade wielders. This could be an interesting way to bring in new characters to the protagonists and also perhaps highlight that enemies aren't always evil individuals; but normal individuals too. From this group various other actors with sinister plans could take place ( Disney villains could have more significance using the anti keyblade feeling the pursue own goals; you could have keyblade wielders hunting others) also it would be a good contrast to see Sora instead of being welcomed to worlds; having to be careful and cautious and it would be interesting to have Sora see a persecution of a keyblade wielder- then you could have moral questions- such as am I actually helping? What am I achieving etc. 3) copycat grouop/ fanatics- this group would seek a continuation of Xehanort's work and would see him as a God and thus would see Sora as a Devil figure; therefore to avenge Xehanort- this group could show elements of madness; dedication and twisted nature. I'd have this group misinterpret Xehanort's ambitions badly and carry out what they percieve to be a lost mission/divine duty. Also fantatics are hard to defeat; so Sora and co would be tested in more than one way to win. A mere physical victory wouldn't be enough as they'd be fighting a belief as well this time. These are a few ideas I had and I eagerly look forward to discussing with people what they think ( also if people enjoyed this discussion- let me know as I have a few ideas for future protagonists; purpose of visiting worlds; time span from three and a few others) Thanks for reading and all the best
  17. I feel he is the main villain overall- however saying that I would be very amused and satisfied if at the end of the game during the secret movie; we saw someone we didn't know appear and say something ambiguous along the lines of ' well you've think you've won; but that was only the beginning'/ ' light might have triumphed now; but nightfall is coming'. For me that would be perfect; Xehanort isn't replaced as the main villain in the game; yet the next saga would be hinted towards perhaps suggesting that other forces were merely observing on the side.
  18. It's been confirmed we're getting more worlds than any other instalment already which is 13. The truth is we don't know how far square are in terms of development or even what is fully planned. My money would be closer to 20 than 13 ( around 17-20) due to the logic behind it. We know that: Kingdom of Corona; Twilight Town; San Fransokyo; Mount Olympus; Mysterious Tower ( due to having a distinct map from TwilightTown I'm classing this as separate) and what appears to be Land of Departure ( until confirmed) One can probably assume that: Keyblade Graveyard; Radiant Garden; Castle Oblivion; 100 acre wood ( if you believe Jim Cummings); Disney Castle wil return too and it's been confirmed we'll see Kingdom Hearts itself ( so consider this might be playable)- we're on 12 worlds. That's 5 disney worlds alone; sorry but I cannot see only 6 disney worlds being in the game. Not only would it be a disappointment; but seriously? When you compare this to: Space Parnoids; 100 Acre Wood; The Land of Dragons; Beast's Castle; Olympus Coliseum; Disney Castle; Timeless River; Port Royal; Atlantica; Agrabah; Halloween Town and The Pride Lands in KH2, there's no way that will happen. I appreciated and agree with yours concern regarding then worlds; however logic would show 20 is more likely. And would not only show a good range of Non Disney Worlds; but most importantly a good range of a Disney films allowing a variety of classic films and the new ones
  19. Speculating on dates are always fun; however I don't see E3 revealing KH3's release date. It will be interesting to see when 2.8 gets revealed and also released. If 2.8 is say revealed for December 16; then it's more realistic for Jump Festa to provide a release year bracket. From a marketing perspective it would be brilliant; spend the year pushing 2.8 in terms of promo whilst keeping 3 news healthy and once that product is making money reveal 3's year bracket at the end of 2016. That way everyone goes into the new year on a hype and it also shows to other rival companies that Square are not holding back in terms of another huge release; therefore exciting fans; pleasing shareholders ( essential in business) and puttimg pressure on rivals.
  20. slightly different here; but I like what they did with the Pillars in Olympus and the hole being filled up in Twilight Town. Visually the game will look stunning; so give us something to look at in each specific world. Make us want to fully explore and admire our environment rather than go from A to B kill enemies and go back to A again or die going from A to B because Donald didn't heal you etc. Instead I want to spend ages admiring each detail in the world and fully realise every world is unique.
  21. For me personally this has a very continental European Town feeling to it/appearance. My only ' issue' with it; is it looks so bleak; the detail is stunning and the Kingdom shader looks phenomenal- however it looks depressing. I know there are theories speculating that this is foreshadowing what is to come etc. It will be interesting to see what the foretellers look like too. Overall though any news is good news and it is something new too
  22. My ideal scenario would be in Kingdom Hearts itself ( likely since we know we'll see the real Kingdom Hearts in KH3), and Xehanort would have the X-Blade after being successful in his ambitions and would thus have a final ' God Form' ( similar to how final fantasy bosses had a god form at the end) and after a gruelling battle; Sora would be initially defeated. However the light from Kingdom Hearts would allow Sora to temporarily match Xehanort, and then only then will Sora defeat Xehanort. Make it a cruel irony that Xehanot was successful and only a small blip allowed him to defeated.
  23. I hope so; it has a lot of potential and as a Dark World it fills the criteria. It is my personal top hope for a world in the game; however as mentioned above; owning an asset doesn't increase the odds , nor however does it harm the odds. I will remain optimistic about the chances of this being included
  24. Well seeing as fated events are meant to happen and that the destruction of Xemnas and Ansem SOD are instrumental in bringing back Old Man Xehanort then they need to return to their original timeline. From what I gather this kind of what we are looking/might happen ( Using Xemnas as an example) 1) Fated event- Old Man Xehanort takes over Terra thus creating Terranort 2) Fated Event- Terranort now Apprentice Xehanort surrenders to the darkness creating Xemnas and Ansem) 3) Xemnas creates Organization XIII with the intent of making the members all norted 4) Xemnas fights Sora at Hollow Bastion 5) events of KH2- Xemnas is defeated- Fated Event His destruction as well as Ansem's results in Xehanort returning... 6) Due to Ansem SOD going back in time thus providing Young Xehanort with time travelling; YX is able to go to Xemnas' timeline as above and bring him forward to future 7) events of DDD- Xemnas terrorises Sora and is thus present when 12 of the SODs are present 8) due to Sora not being Norted Xemnas returns to his own time period. prseumed events: 9) Once the 13th vessel has been found and norted; Xemnas is back in the current events 10) Xemnas is a combatant in the Second Keyblade War Speculation as there are 2 potential routes I can think of: 11) Xemnas is defeated and thus returns to his own time period to essential fill the fated event where he has to be defeated in KHII to bring back OMX 12) Xemnas is defeated and having already fulfilled his role of being defeated in the past to bring back OMX simply fades away in the present day without going back to the past. Either way Xemnas has to be defeated to bring back OMX; it just looks a bit complicated whether or not he'll have to go back to the past to fulfil his duty or whether that role has already been fulfilled and he can simply fade away in the present. Or there is one other outcome: ( fantastically making It 13 points) 13) Xemnas doesn't get defeated in the Keyblade War and thus continues living in the present
  25. I don't have an issue with this on the whole; excluding Luxord. He was based on purpose around the theme of the English Gentleman; like Xigbar was deliberately given a Surfer laid back approach. Therefore I don't see how Luxord would be from San Fransokyo; which is based on Tokyo and San Francisco respectfully. Also look at Luxord and then look at Ansem the Wise and tell me there's not a similiarity there. Also whilst Demyx could be from Hawaii; I'm leaning towards him being more towards a Twilight Town resident; I mean I could imagine him chilling with his Sitar over looking the train track into the distance. Going back; I can see members of the old Organization visiting new worlds in Kh3 which we haven't; but I feel as if having them come from there would be a bit sloppy and more convienient than anything.
