I agree with you both but I really want the combos to be fast and perfect. They look to be a good standard when fighting with minimal 'floatiness'. But if you look at the combos against the rock titan in Soraalam's (dean's) video the combos are really slow when he is attacking the titans foot. Also the combos against bigger Heartless seem to be the same. If you look at the giga's they don't have any stagger so they can easily combo you.

Bigger enemies not staggering is nothing new. It’s always been the case from what I recall. And, from what I understand, Olympus is early in the game so it makes sense for the combos to be slower (same thing as previous KH games, including KHII). My main complaint with the “floatiness” are air combos and ground to air combos. They seem very “floaty” from what I’ve seen but ground combat looks solid.

Only finishers usually make the big enemies stagger. Look at KH2’s Twilight Thorn or Kh1’s rock titan. You’ll see what I mean.

I looked at that interview again. He clearly meant "plan" in present tense.

I think to clear the confusion/misinterpretation up from what I've gathered from it all regarding future news; is that Nomura has only said 'there will be a small break from the news' - and that's it? So there's absolute no confirmation of when it will appear next I think.. But, if there is a small break in news then that implies to me that KH3 will probably skip at least the next big gaming event being TGS.

As far as we're concerned, we get nothing until D23 Japan next year.

Do not assume that. A calendar release has nothing to do with KH3.

KH1 is good but I honestly consider the CoM novel to be the best version of that story. It doesn't have the needless cringe of the manga, the generally bad gameplay of the games OR older Hayley Joel's voice-acting for still-14 year old Sora.

Not to mention, the CoM novel actually acknowledges the existence of the higher-tier magic spells in dialogue like Blizzaga, Firaga, etc. AND has S/D/G's memory leave gradually instead of literally forgetting every Disney world after Traverse Town.

OH OH AAAAAAND it combines the BEST of the two versions of the script from the GBA and NDS version, keeping Axel's 'Got it memorized?' line but still keeping in lines like his, 'Give me one hell of a show!'

That would be amazing. There's still things to improve but I'd be glad if we'd get regular information from now on. It doesn't have to be a trailer each time, just a few tidbits here and there would be enough. To keep the hype going and people interested.

Yeah I agree just little tidbits from here on in and communication until a 2018 would be great. With there being more worlds than KH2 new information around every 3 months would be brill

If that's still a thing, though. I know he said that at some point but things seem to change so quickly I'm glad we even get some info here and there and I wouldn't count on a 2018 release just yet either....
