  1. well, to be honest. once i could see the appeal, back in school days when it was thought to be a thing on ps3 with the tech demo at launch at the time and all, but in all honesty, now, even with it being my favourite ff hands down and my fav cast of characters in any ff , i don't really care. what will it bring more than what was in the old OG one? better graphics, a new combat system, fine. that had my interest as well when i was younger, but really what sticked with me out of my ff7 runs has always been the story, the characters, and that isn't changing. i already ate the cake, i know what it tastes like. replaying it for the sake of better graphics, modern day overhaul..meh. i'm past the days of completing a game 100% or playing it beyond what it has to tell, guess that's growing up for me in a way, but i'm not that type of gamer anymore. and plus it not looking anything like what it used to erases all sense of nostalgia which is at the heart of the enjoyment of all these old games, being gems or not. but yeah i can definitely see the appeal. though to me it's just the same old, only nicer. i'd rather have Nomura and such work on new stuff, say the next KH, or some sequel to TWEWY or anything else really. ff7 ? that's a story that's been told and milked already.
  2. now that is a very interesting interpretation, it's always nice to see there's sometimes more being some things, and the digging is pretty neat.
  3. well i will say that... you're suddenly surprised and shocked about a WEAPON not being somehow solely for good? it was never hinted at keyblades doing only good. hell it's the case since KH1. it is but a weapon, its use dependent of its user....
  4. hard one between toybox (you've got a friend in me~~~~~) and sanfransokyo but going to say the later because even though i'm not that fond of Bh6, i just love seeing Sora in a more "realistic" world, and the city offered a nice feeling of scale and clarity, and a nice change of look compared to the more fantasy like worlds we've had until now,
  5. alright, i do disagree with some points here, and for the overall feeling of the game, but that's an honest opinion, i'd say one thing right off the bat, expectations, and desires. both issues especially nowadays with hype and that excrutiating tendency to binge on and bask in theories and plots and whatnot -for the sake of waiting i'm aware of it but even being very fond of that game series since 2002 there comes a time you just need to let time past and leave it at that and enjoy the reunion when it finally arrives- that might be a very broad assumption on my part, but nonetheless if it doesn't apply to you i'm sure it does to a large majority of people who for the most part just poisons an environment and a game appreciation as a whole. yup, not so fond of the idea of fanbases, especially at our time and age. and to believe some chitchat here and there holds more weight than actual money made in a company's decision to keep on producing something is preposterous to say the least. anyway. onto the review.
  6. to put it simply, classic style is turned based. you have as much time as you want to act and take your decision, as long as it's your turn.No one else can act during your turn. ATB combat style is as its name implies not frozen in time. whenever it's your turn to play, the "time" during the battle still goes on, and enemies can still attack you during your own turn, if their turn -represented by an invisible gauge charging over real time- is up. ff VII, IX, or XIII are good ATB examplesif that's clearer^^
  7. nicely conducted, with a nice moody arrangement, and nice voice. I agree with most of what Javelin434 said so no need to repeat here keep up the good work, you've got something nice there
  8. hey! welcome around Tara, enjoy your stay , take a chair, grab some candies, enjoy the mood!

  11. yes I agree too and nx could bring a whole new dimension to the title.I always thought the wiiU controller could have been very interesting with a game like okami, pushing the drawing concept even further.
  12. then again, I'd be really happy if they actually did okami was such a wonderful game, and a sequel could bring a lot.
  13. o_________________________________________________________________________O *sits down and rethinks is life* *what did I miss, what did I miss...* but this will give me nightmares
  14. he never was so close to being actually quite accurate
  15. oh my, an okami 2.I'm as thrilled as I am scared by the idea.this licence is a gem on its own, dunno if trying to make it revive will really beneficit it, and still...with what can be done now...the idea itself is mindblowing.I'm all like YES PLEASE DON'T MAKE OKAMI 2 I WANT IT TO HAPPEN
  16. gotta agree with that, but if I had to choose...twilight town^^ cause I've had enough and I just love traverse town's mood too much to pick it instead
