So many true intellectuals voting Xion. I can kind of see why people like Aqua, but Willa Holland's terrible job as her VA and the general writing of BBS turns me off to her as a character.

Proud on this game is super easy tho. So basically everyone should go Wisdom + Mystic because Magic is broke.

RIP hopes and dreams. Roxas > Sora for Smash btw. But I'll settle for Sora.

Babynort in BBS is the absolute worst and a prime example of garbage boss design so I'm glad we don't have anything like that.

1.) General hype backlash 2.) Gameplay lacks depth 3.) Tons of story issues even by KH standards I personally enjoyed the game a lot but it sure as hell ain't perfect.

Not every game needs to be like Dark Souls smh. Also, please don't buff the defense of bosses. This game already has a ton of damage sponges and that's like one of the most unfun ways of increasing difficulty. II's Crit actually boosts your damage compared to Standard and Proud and it's still the hardest mode.

I think the soundtrack is pretty solid overall (didn't mind the use of old tracks since the remixes they got are sweet), but some of the new boss tracks are definitely disappointing. I'm more annoyed by how certain songs were used in the wrong circumstances. "Tension Rising" is a Nobody song yet one version plays during the Angelic Amber fight.

This is all I can bring myself to say on the matter.

I've found around 60, though I've been using a guide. Some of these are hidden in super devious locations.

This game has a bunch of missed opportunities, though only a couple really bug me.

I've already put in 24 hours worth of game time.

I haven't watched Tangled recently but there were defitnely points where you could tell it wasn't Mandy Moore. Kelsey Lansdowne did a good job otherwise.

I have some gripes with III but it's not the worst lol. I'd actually argue it's one of the best games in the franchise since both the combat and story are done well (or at least done decentish for combat). Plus Dream Drop Distance still exists.

I think I like Toy Box the most. Something about the world's level design and the general premise of running around in a toy store is just really appealing to me. The boss is also really cool even it its music track is kind of meh.

For the challenge. A frankly unfun challenge, but some people are masochists. Plus it might get patched to be actually functional in the future.

This game is ridiculously easy even on Proud, so you can frankly do whatever. I went Wisdom + Warrior and I'm doing swell. Plus Wisdom gets you MP Haste before level 10.

Mentioned this in another thread, but II has my favorite opening due to "Sanctuary" and the visuals. DDD is also pretty good. Favorite character is Roxas. He's probably one of the most complex and well-written characters in the series, plus there's the nostalgia for II factor and him having "The Other Promise" as a boss theme.

The game scales damages so you're not slowly chipping away at everything. You still do less damage than if you were properly leveled, obviously, but at least you're doing damage. Tons of things one-shot you, though. Midgame is a pretty tough stretch, but once you beat Roxas it's a relatively free ride to the credits.

I finally did a Level 1 run (with no permanent stat boosters) of II Final Mix to prepare myself for III. While frustrating at times, it was also extremely fun and rewarding to pull off things like the Roxas AI loop and Xigbar's DM skip. I actually beat the game, got Ultima Weapon, and took down most of the Absent Silhouettes before putting the game down (for now).

Based on some newly learned information, I've decided to do my first playthrough on Proud. Here's hoping that nothing will wall me.
