There are BBS novels?! I've been searching for those my entire existence (ok technically not but whatevs)
ITzDarthLordRevan repliedThere are BBS novels, but they haven't been translated into English. Somebody somewhere translated the first three chapters in writing form, but they stopped for some unknown reason.

TheKeyofRose repliedI mean the guy was all the way bad in BBS granted yes Vanitas is a 'Tragic Villain' I'm not sure what will happen in KH3 but if the orchestra was any sort of hint he may just become an 'Anti-Hero'
RikuFangirl2008 repliedI already read some original concept of it describing Vanitas, and it was really dark but understandable that he is what he is, because of Xehanort. I felt really bad of Vanitas after reading the original concept.

WayfindersDestiny repliedI always encourage people to read further into his backstory which the BBS novels provide. He was far more than just an antagonist or being of darkness, he longed for the same acknowledgement and understanding Ventus had. A child will grow up to become what their 'parents' have conditioned them to be, MX did the same creating him from the darkness of Ventus' heart and thus it was all that Vanitas knew. HE DESERVED BETTER.
