Watched Batman vs Superman. All I can say is that the critics can stick it up their arses, because they are so wrong about the film. I preferred it so much more so than either of the Avengers films.

Unlike normal human hearts, dragons' hearts have Desire and Determination almost constantly linked. Let me explain.
Veemon repliedYou may know of the stories where the Dragon captures a princess for an unknown reason and a knight/hero must come and "slay the dragon". Or even a dragon who guards a large treasure room. Capturing someone or something or guarding a materialistic thing are Personal Desires, or Greed, to simply put.
Veemon repliedAnd there are nicer dragons, who you may know one or two *adjusts own tie*. Their desires go the distance and are to help others. They long for satisfaction in their desire to help someone, and in the end it sometimes end up being that the dragon gets manipulated to do an evil person's will, just to satisfy that desire.

If I were to make an action rpg right now, the graphics and gameplay would probably be lower than the gameplay and graphics or tales of phantasia, but it's worth a shot. I like focusing the combos more then most people, so I'll work on the first.
MythrilMagician repliedChill, practice first. Make mock applications, practice your drawing. Also, if you are developing it solo, practice with some artificial music apps and get used to them as well.
Soul_Seeker repliedIf you want to make a simple RPG with mostly story elements, I recommend trying out RPG Maker. It's very beginner-friendly, coming from my own experience.
Trece the Xam ( ▀ ͜͞ʖ▀) repliedRocketboy said it, RPG maker is really good, and if you find scripts (or plugins if it's RPG Maker MV) for an action RPG you can do something like what you want to do. I'm quite positive that it's posible in VX Ace.
