OMG! Bandai Namco copyrighted my tales of xillia let's play video for visual content. WHY?

    WakingDawn96 replied

Because they own the visual content and can do that.

    Exiblade7 replied

i know that xP , but why would they just suddenly copyright my videos when I've been playing let's playing their games for kind of a while now

    Exiblade7 replied

    makes no sense honestly

    Exiblade7 replied

I have a FULL let's play of Tales of Symphonia and they didn't copyright a single video

    Exiblade7 replied

see? even you don't know the answer

    Soravids replied

    Heh, mine are still okay.

    AzureAce replied

Zelda, do you have commentary over it?

    Exiblade7 replied

    sometimes

    Exiblade7 replied

and I don't talk during cutscenes

    Soravids replied

Not the issue, I don't have any commentary and mine are fine.

    AzureAce replied

Then that's abuse of the Content ID system. Like everyone and their dog seems to be doing at the moment. Because that's fair use of content. I'd try and appeal.

    AzureAce replied

Actually Sora, it is the issue. Zelda's under the right of fair use. Which means Bandai are basically breaking the law by copyrighting that video. Some companies are chill and let you record their videos but others *cough* Capcom, Konami, Nintendo, Ubisoft, Bandai, SEGA *cough* are complete dicks about it.

    Soravids replied

Bot how come mine are okay then?

    Soravids replied

    But*

    AzureAce replied

Because like I said, some companies are chill about the creation of their content because they're not oblivious to the fact that it's basically free marketing.

    Exiblade7 replied

so you want me to try to remove the copyright from the video?

    Exiblade7 replied

in other words, file a dispute?

    AzureAce replied

    Yeah

    Exiblade7 replied

    okay

    AzureAce replied

Wait, I have a question before you do it

    Exiblade7 replied

    what is it?

    AzureAce replied

Is it a Content ID Claim or a Copyright Strike that you're experiencing?

    Exiblade7 replied

    I think it's a copyright strike

    Exiblade7 replied

they said I can use the content in the video, but ads might appear in it

    AzureAce replied

    Can you check?

    Exiblade7 replied

    I did check

    Exiblade7 replied

this is what I'm looking at http://puu.sh/nnLAi/9d514bfdac.png

    AzureAce replied

Then it would be best not to dispute. It's not a strike. It's just a Content ID claim. The only thing they will be doing is taking any monetization from your video.

    Exiblade7 replied

    oh okay

    Soravids replied

It's like they don't want marketing lol.

    WakingDawn96 replied

You do know that I wasn't online after you responded to me, don't give me attitude for being offline and saying "see, even you don't have the answer!"

    Exiblade7 replied

    well, I'm sorry

    Exiblade7 replied

    I thought you were online

    Exiblade7 replied

I was a little upset, but I should have known better

    WakingDawn96 replied

Just don't cross me again, and we will all be fine then :)

    Soravids replied

It wasn't that bad WalkingDawn. He didn't even insult you.

I don't know if I should get the New 3DS with both Red and Blue already instualed (my R button on my 3DS doesn't work all that great) or if I should just get one of them on my 3DS now

    WakingDawn96 replied

If you can get the New 3DS edition, then you really should. The New 3DS is an upgrade really of the 3DS, I know since I have one, and it comes with the two faceplates and the games which is a win win really

    TheKingdomkid replied

I know I want to get it at Best Buy but they are not in the store in the city I live in and I don't really want to have it delivered to me

Anybody know when the next SE event might be, or some event where they might show up, and when we are most likely to get some more news regarding either 2.8 or KH3 or both?

    Soul_Seeker replied

I'd say our best chance of getting new KH3 news and 2.8 news would be E3 2016. Otherwise, nobody knows.

    Kingdomhe replied

    e3

    AaySquare replied

Yeah most likely E3 2016 which is in June. Sucks there is no event before that where SE could show up.

    how are you today?

  17. Veemon left a comment on Aqua7KH's profile

I'm curious. How many RPs have you 100% finished? Like, got to the Resolution of the RP.

    Aqua7KH replied

    Like none OTL

Tbh I think it's normal. Especially since I usually just continue my rps on. They do last for a long time. Some even over a year. One day I would love to finaih one though.

    Veemon replied

You should attempt to have less RPs going on at once. That way you can focus all your efforts on one particular RP. Being distracted by tons at once will make it harder to finish even one. Plus, you want to not make it so long that nobody knows where the end is. Then again, if other players don't even bother to post frequently enough, then I can't blame you for thinking that way.

"Every story, must come to an end."

Today, I've finally finished Life is Strange. The ending is really emotional, but it really depends on what choice you make at the end of the game.
