    Indies are all about taking risks and thinking outside the box to sell their games, which big studios can't do, so it's not surprising that it may be a mess since it's usually a hit or miss.

    To be honest, it's always had ups and downs. I've come to appreciate the indie scene much more in recent years thanks to games like Cave Story (Which I was late to) and Shovel Knight, but there's always been that whole "All indie games must be hardcore platformers" thing.

    Well, this sound very irrelevant to anything, but apparently, this certain kind of enemy from Super Mario Bros. 3 could not only shoot fireballs, but after it ran out of fire, it would eventually explode! And neither me or my brother knew about that until just today. xP It's kind of good info for me, actually. :)

    Okay, so Pokemon Sun/Moon are the games I'm most excited for this year and all we've seen of them is some concept art flashes. I'm so excited to see how the game celebrating the 20th anniversary of my favorite game series will turn out to be.

    I must say that those vehicles are interesting! Also, is that bird shown at the end that's half way done new or is it an older version Pokémon?

    I'm really curious about the vehicles, too. As for the bird, it reminded me of a Fletchling, so I think that's what it is, but it's tough to tell for sure.

    When I was with my friends we also thought it was Fletching... but I just wanted to make sure that we weren't the only ones who thought this xD

    I've seen some other guesses of it being Fletchling, so that seems to be the common thought so far. xD

    I think that they might have kept it secret because they're going with a new art style, like how D/P and B/W looked completely different despite being on the same system. Just a guess, but maybe it is just a new bird that looks a lot like Fletchling. xD

    It would be a lot better if it was a different art style, although I prefered D/P/P's to B/W/B2/W2's one -.-

    I liked B/W's art more personally, but D/P's was great too. I felt like X/Y's was great for the transition to 3D, but I'm interested to see how they'll change it for Gen VII (If they do, anyway).

    It's always nice to change the art style, I think it refreshes the game and it makes it different from how it was in the previous version.

     

    My personal favourite is 3rd Gen art style, even more than the 3D one in Pokémon Battle Revolution and in 6th Gen.

    Yeah, it helps make each generation stand out a lot. Heck, even within Gen IV, I feel like the Sinnoh games and the G/S remakes had slightly different styles.

     

    I've always loved Gen II's artstyle, but I also loved the art in III and VI. I don't know if I can choose a favorite. ._.

    Gen 2 brings back good memories, but my main Pokémon game was Emerald, so that's why that's my fav xD

     

    And yeah, G/S and D/P/P had slightly different styles I think.

    I love Emerald too (I love every main series game xD), but Silver is definitely my favorite. It changed so much for the series and added in a lot of cool content, and probably had my favorite region and set of Pokemon. Emerald might be in my top 5, although I really love the Gen III remakes, too.

     

    They definitely felt different in terms of setting and all. That might be why the art felt different.

    I haven't played any Pokémon games after Pokémon Y, so I haven't tried the remakes.

    The remakes were really fun, although I do miss the Battle Frontier. That's the main thing I think Emerald has over the remakes.

     

    Silver's definitely an incredible game. xD If I had to say my top 3, they'd probably be Omega Ruby, White 2, then Silver. Emerald is probably #4.

    Mine would be Emerald, and then it's a draw between Diamond, Green Leaf and Silver, I can't make my mind up out of those xD

     

    I haven't played B2/W2, but the first ones were really awful in my opinion, it's the only Pokémon game (not counting the other ones like Rumble, Rush, Shuffle, Pinball, etc.) that I didn't finish, so Teselia is th only region I haven't actually finished xD. I do recognise that my opinion isn't really shared here, but whatever xD
