    Wow... a character from SQEX makes it into Smash and it is from Final Fantasy. Almost there! Sora has to be in there!

    I already know those who denied so hard. I do admit the back to back posts on Sora being on Smash was annoying after a while, but the denying post were getting old.

    Aren't there only 3 slots, though? I mean, it's great that we got cloud, but I feel like they wouldn't use two of the three slots on characters from the same company. (Or is that 3 slot thing not true? I'm which case SORA HYYPPPEE )

    Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the main reason was Disney did not want their characters used in a 'violent" fighting game so that's why they used FF and made a FF fighting game instead (Dissidia) I don't keep up much on FF or smash so forgive me if I'm wrong here.

    Sora isn't making it to Smash yet (I don't think). One of the reasons, is because of what Flaming Lea said.

    That's what I was thinking Lea, due to the ESRB; "cartoon violence." Although I find it stupid that a character like Villager can be violent, yet Sora can't?

    That's what I thought guys. Disney is very particular about how they do things and what image they want to maintain.( even if silly)

    Then again, smash and dissidia present their battles much differently. Smash uses both wimsy and cartoon violence, while dissidia doesn't do much to censor their violence.

    It doesn't matter though if Disney disagrees. They own KH and it's original characters. Look how careful they handle Mickey in KH.

    @Flaming Lea Everybody had a different reason why it couldnt happen but the square and disney one came up the most as for the cartoon violence in smash i dont see it being a huge deal because Kingdom Hearts is cartoon violence where as with sora being in dissidia the ff universe has a more realistic asthetic so the violence would be more realistic idk i think it's stupid. if a character gets enough votes to become a character in smash obviously the fans want him in smash and disney, Squar...

    Disney Square and nintendo are all corporations who at the end of the day want to turn as large a profit possible if sora got enough votes im sure it would happen

    And a amiibo/infinity figure hybrid may be a thing if Sora ends up in Smash. (Similar to the Skylander/amiibo figures.) Profits for Disney if they manufacture them.

    I'm not against it and I hope Disney would see it that way but I'm just bringing up that issue bc I do recall it being an issue in the past and Disney can be strict. KH had limitations with how they even handled Mickey and that says a lot lol

    Sora is still a big possibility even with Disney's wariness. We can't dismiss the possibility of him joining.

    Was I really the only one majorly disappointed by the Direct today? I mean, the things of note weren't very exciting. TPHD? Great, I guess. Not gonna get it though. Dragon Quest VII and VIII? Honestly, that's what I'm most excited for. Pokemon Gen I games? Yeah, sure, put the most flawed Pokemon games to date on the VC. Sure. Cloud for Smash? Cool I guess, but uh, how about bringing a 3D Final Fantasy VI to 3DS? The announcements they gave were fine I guess, but it wasn't real...

    No, I didn't care for most of it either. The only thing that really got me was Fire Emblem. Was majorly disappointed they ignored Bravely Second and FExSMT. I admit, I thought RBY with wifi trading and Cloud for Smash were cool, though.

    Same here. The only things that got my interested was the Link amiibo and Cloud out of all things in Smash. (Not a bad thing, just surprised is all.) Everything else I didn't give a shit about or cringed.

    I know right!? I was a little pised when they just announced the release date but not show any new trailers/gameplay. ANd I STILL need to get the first Bravely Default. I'm behind on some 3DS games.
