So, someone on G+ made a really good observation . In the beginning of 3D, Yen Sid said he was going to send Sora and Riku back to the Destiny Islands before it fell into darkness and became a sleeping world. But the islands where fully restored to the Realm of Light and the end of the first gane, they where never a sleeping world, where they? I mean, weren't the Sleeping Worlds worlds that weren't fully restored to light?
Fenrissychros repliedWhen a world falls to darkness, it becomes a Sleeping World, until it is restored. Those in 3D are worlds that didn't restore for some reason
KingdomHearts3 repliedSora and Riku were sent back in time to a past version of themselves on Destiny Islands. Sleeping worlds are worlds that do not return fully from darkness; Destiny Islands did. They were first sent back to an awake world, then entered the sleeping worlds.
Isamu Kuno repliedMy point is that Yen Sid said they became a sleeping world. But I don't think they did.when a world falls into darkness its ruins gather in the Realm of Darkness, it only becomes a Sleeping World if it doesn't funny return to the Realm of Light. So NY that, Destiny Islands fell in the RoD like Castle of Dreams did but was funny restored, it didn't get caught in the Realm of Sleep
Isamu Kuno repliedUnless I'm wrong, did Destiny Islands fall into the Realm of Sleep rather than the Realm of Darkness? But then, why was it at the core of End of the World?
KingdomHearts3 repliedIt did fall into darkness first. Then when Sora defeated Ansem, that world along with many others returned to light. Some did not return fully and fell to sleep.
Isamu Kuno repliedBut then why would Yen Sid specifically say that Destiny Islands became a Sleeping World if it was never in the Realm of Sleep?
KingdomHearts3 repliedHe did not. He said that there are worlds that did not return fully and are still sleeping.
Isamu Kuno replied"I will return you to the Destiny Islands, just before they where swallowed by the darkness and plunged into sleep"
KingdomHearts3 repliedOkay. So he says when a world falls to darkness,it falls to sleep at the same time. Remember Sora's heart plunging into darkness? He and his heart were about to fall asleep.
Isamu Kuno repliedSo, you're saying that just because the Destiny Islands where sleeping doesn't mean they where in the Realm of Sleep? That doesn't make much sense to me...
KingdomHearts3 repliedThey were sleeping in darkness and when it returned, it awoke. Some worlds still remained sleeping and so ended up in the realm of sleep.
Isamu Kuno repliedI think I understand. You're saying that the Sleeping Worlds are the dreams of the worlds that fell into darkness, sort of a backup copy, right?
HarLea Quinn repliedSleeping Worlds are worlds that are literally frozen in time that keep repeating themselves over and over in dreams until they are awoken. DI was frozen in time just like a dreaming world when it fell into darkness. So it became a sleeping world when it fell to darkness.
Shard the Gentleman repliedOkay, so if Sora and Riku were sent back in time, wouldn't they possess that body of that tome, thus everything they do controls the outcomes... so how did they do the test without messing up the whole "Sora gets the keyblade" thing?
HarLea Quinn repliedThey were sent back in time through merlin/ yen sid but not the same way as Xehanorts method
Shard the Gentleman repliedHow exactly was it done? *I haven't 0layed DDD in like two years *
HarLea Quinn repliedThey sent them back body and all to right before DI fell to darkness so they can enter the RoS..They then used that doorway into the RoS.Yen Sid gave them new clothes and their old bodies so they can learn the ways of the keyblade fresh and from scratch to learn the proper way since they were never formally trained.
HarLea Quinn repliedIt's why they do not change back until they return to the Mysterious Tower- bc it's yen sids magic.
Isamu Kuno repliedSo, a world doesn't become a Sleeping World as a result of not being properly restored, it becomes a Sleeping World as a result of ever having fallen to darkness in the first place and simply remains a Sleeping World untileader or unless it's restored fully. I'd that it?
So worlds taken by Darkness exist in the RoD and the RoS at the same time?
Shard the Gentleman repliedWait, I thought it was Young Xehanort who changed their clothes, so he could track them with the sigil?
HarLea Quinn repliedIt's not terribly clear on this except to say we know they fell to darkness and to sleep at the same time. Thus why you could enter the RoS during the moment it fell to darkness. Sleeping worlds were said to be worlds that were never awoken/restored (DI was restored bc of Sora) so those ones in DDD were never awoken like DI later was. Notice we just used DI to enter the RoS but we know it does get restored. Then the worlds we went to in DDD after were never restored or awoken after they fell
HarLea Quinn repliedXehanort put a sigil on Sora not the whole outfit. Just like Riku gained the DE symbol when he became Sora's DE. Both after the fact.
HarLea Quinn repliedThe Robed Figure–a Heartless born from that experiment–says “This world has been connected”. While in KH1 that meant the Islands were connected to the darkness, in this title does it signify that Xehanort and company have connected to the Sleeping Worlds?
It means both of those things. In that scene, the Robed Figure became a “Portal” himself as a result of contact with Sora’s group, making it possible for the other Xehanorts to intervene within the dreams.
HarLea Quinn repliedIn the latter half of The World That Never Was, despite returning to the real world, why do Sora and Riku stay in their younger forms, and why do Dream Eaters appear etc?
Sora and Riku’s form is due to Yen Sid’s magic, so the way it works is that they can’t turn back until they return to the Mysterious Tower. And Dream Eaters were appearing because Sora was still asleep. Also, ever since Organization XIII was defeated in KH2, The World That Never Was’s existence as a world became uncerta...
HarLea Quinn repliedWhen both of them are in the reality parts, they don’t return to their original bodies. Why is that?
It’s because of Yen Sid’s magic that they’ve taken their old forms. If they didn’t return to Yen Sid’s place, their bodies wouldn’t return back to normal. Incidentally, their new outfits were thanks to Yen Sid’s magic as Sora suspected.
Isamu Kuno repliedSo, would it be fair to say that world's are not physically transported to the Realm of Sleep when attempting to return to the Realm of ligh, but rather the Realm of Sleep is where the dreams of this manefest while they're sleeping in the darkness?
Isamu Kuno repliedAlso, the number of responses this statusite got are worthy of a full forum thread, lol
HarLea Quinn repliedI think they exist in both at the same time but how is not made clear. Look at the complexity of the inbetween worlds. It's not so cut and dry. I mean lets be honest. I think some things get retconned or overlooked as the story is written.
KingdomHearts3 repliedBoy, am I glad Flaming Lea explained all this in this kind of detail because I wouldn't have.

Well, this is something I found out first-hand. If you're a guy, and you say you're in a long-distance relationship with a girl, nobody will believe you unless you give them undeniable proof. But if you're a guy in a long-distant relationship with a guy, then they're all like, "Oh, you don need proof! We believe you!" Like, seriously? Gay or straight, I'm as much of a loser as before.
Pangoro "Sen" repliedOh, there is nothing wrong with that. At least to me. I mean, you just need to wait for the right person. That person comes sooner for some than others, but we'll all meet that person eventually, should we want to.
KingdomHearts3 repliedWow, that's dumb of them to say. If they are for real then they are perfect examples of mental cases.
Shulk replied@Pangoro It's mostly just being incredibly shy in general, but yeah, I've always wanted to just wait for the right person, anyway. No clue when that's going to come (Assuming it ever does), but a lot of people seem to love pressuring single people into getting into a relationship as soon as possible.

Your whole situation sounds pretty frustrating, too.
Shard the Gentleman replied@Shulk
Right? It's like "when are you getting a boyfriend? Why don't you have one?" And honestly it just makes me feel worse everytime I get asked.

So my math teacher yelled at the class this morning because, as he put, we're incompetent idiots that don't bother to study. It was scary at the time, and I know he meant it, but now I just look back at it and laaaaaugh.

YouTube's become a lot less interesting now that half of the people I'm subscribed to are uploading nothing but Undertale.
Pangoro "Sen" repliedYeah, Undertale has gotten a bit too much appreciation. I see why people like it, but good Arceus there's a lot of Undertale stuff.
Pangoro "Sen" repliedAye, that it is. I see why people like it. The characters are fun and the humor is excellent, not to mention the absolutely brilliant battle system. But no game really deserves THAT much attention. I mean, maybe for a month, sure, that's fine. But at this point, it's gotten pretty annoying.
Pangoro "Sen" repliedYeah. Actually, my boyfriend, who doesn't like this game at all, showed me an image of one person noting that it's a good thing that the game basically forces you to make the right choices. Like, power to them at all, but I'm pretty sure the point of a game is to be able to make choices, and to be able to have fun with whatever choices you make. Not make it so that if you kill people, then you're halted in your tracks. And, if that game is REALLY good, then they can put in goo...
Pangoro "Sen" replied...put in good morals in any path the player takes. Or, better yet, the person will be an actual human and have the common sense to not kill people because they like to kill people in video games.
Pangoro "Sen" repliedYeah. I mean, again, good on people for liking the game, but sometimes...*gets out a knife* You just wanna...relieve some stress...
...*Begins chopping vegetables* You'd be surprised at how relaxing this can be.
Pangoro "Sen" repliedYeah. Or you could play any of the Warriors games. Nothing quite like killing people by the thousands in an awesome manner.
Shulk repliedGood point. Undertale seems to be more prevalent, though. Both were everywhere, but with Undertale being a smaller game that appeals more to long-time gamers/RPG fans, it pops up more in their discussions. Of course, being an RPG fan, I can't go five minutes on sites that I like without seeing an Undertale reference.

im gonna make a department store named "Munes" where the slogan is "every day is costomer appreciation day" and we have a jingle that goes "every days great at your munes!". original huh?
Pangoro "Sen" repliedAnd then you have sales all day long and you set it up in a small town and you have TVs in it that some group of teenagers use to save people that get thrown into them and eventually those same teenagers save the world three times over? Yeah, very original.

IGNorant. IGNorant. IGNorant. They will pay for their horribly false opinions!
Pangoro "Sen" repliedI'm just gonna ignore that bit about how they portray their opinions as facts(because everybody knew that already). I mostly just came here to steal that IGNorant joke. Kay, thanks, bye.
KeybladeLordCheeseCurd repliedTell me more about this series harassing so I can ORAORAORA them.

For the Nintendo direct, I rather have a TPHD confirmation rather than a small talk about zelda u. I'm excited for zelda u too, but Nintendo actions made me lost the hype for the game and now the only thing that kinda excites me now is the possible TPHD.

I just learned that shipping Pokemon is a thing... Like what? They're innocent creatures, don't force inter species relationships on them.
Pangoro "Sen" repliedYou can have two different species to mate, so long as they're in the same egg group. So really, shipping Pokemon is quite alright. Take it from me...a Pokemon.
Arya Stark repliedYour still forcing a relationship onto an animal.
It's like shipping a lion and a tiger.
Mystics Apprentice repliedHey, if you really want to talk about unfair, it's kind of abusive to be capturing Pokemon and making them fight other Pokemon for sport, when you really think about it. : P
Mystics Apprentice repliedAll-in-all I think a lot of the Pokemon universe is sort of . . . eh, disregarding how a Pokemon feels. But yes, I entirely agree, Yuffie.
Arya Stark repliedAs shipping squire I ban this activity from KH13
@MysticYeah... What is up with this Pokemon universe?
Mystics Apprentice repliedWhere Cubones wear their mother's dead skulls? Anything, Yuffie. Anything.
Arya Stark repliedHuman characters can defend themselves from rabid fandoms because they're human.
Animals can't... They can be goaded into doing whatever a human wants, through training.
Mystics Apprentice repliedI'm a little confused on whether we're discussing the unfairness of pairing Pokemon because they're animals and don't have a choice, or if we're talking about strictly fan-fiction and how it disrespects the two characters that are being paired against their will. Either way, I think it would be quite different to compare SoRiku and Pokemon pairings, but I do see your point, SteVentus. Opinions of fans, I guess.
Pangoro "Sen" repliedI only responded to this less than an hour ago, and it filled my notification box. Jeez. Also, uh, PangoroXFeraligatr. That's my shipping.
Pangoro "Sen" repliedWailord and Digglett are also compatible. Digglett is smaller than Skitty, too. So I don't see why people don't bring that up more.

I'd totally change my username to Greninja if a Female user were to change theirs to Delphox, or Veemon if they change theirs to Gatomon. And of course, the third ones could be Chesnaught and Patamon. But no mere mortal on this site would have the heart to do so. Or would they???

Am I the only person that think that Nintendo's going to go all out in the Nintendo direct. I mean, just look at what they said on their website: "Catch a new Nintendo Direct on Nov. 12 at 2 p.m. PT for updates on upcoming Wii U and Nintendo 3DS releases. Please note that the presentation will not feature any updates on NX and mobile." (more in the comments)
Exiblade7 repliedthis this information we can speculate that news for the NX and mobile games will not be in the direct. We can also speculate that updates for upcoming wii u and 3ds games will in the direct too, like Xenoblade chronicles for the wii u and Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam for the 3ds
