    The main reason I don't like dubbed stuff is because due to difference in culture, you may miss references and jokes that would only make sense in the original.

    this of course wouldnt make sense in the dub so he says baby instead

    Im all open to hearing opinions with reason, hell, most of the anime I watch is in Japanese

    But the "All English dubs are horrible just because theyre English" argument is just silly. And treating it like a disease is insulting to all the talented actors and writers that actually work hard on their dub.

    And then there are anime like Bebob and Trigun (especially Trigun) that are very western and were written with english speaking languages in mind

    @Sky I agree with the loss of culture but when the tables have turned and they make multiple jokes in Trigun and several other anime about not being able to read or speak in Japanese, well..
