So after watching the Days cutscene thing in 1.5, I've gotta say... That was put together pretty horribly.
It didn't even get interesting until the last five or so days. I really hope Re:Coded won't have any dumb text-only segments, either.Dracozombie repliedAgreed. It's more uncommon to see the people who were impressed with the movie. It looked nice and all, but they removed too much and it made the whole thing feel shallow.
Clouded Sun repliedI hope so too. But I don't think Days was built that bad.
Also we get actual friggin fight scenes in RE:Coded.
Dracozombie repliedTo be fair, 90 percent of the cutscenes in the original game were "Let's eat ice cream," but they were balanced by a lot of subtle character interactions the movie removed. And yeah, removing Roxas's escape from the castle really grated on me. Instead of making his departure significant and tough, he just LEAVES like he could've done it at any time.
TheKingdomkid repliedRe:Coded will be better because it will actually have battles in them not just the lead up to one and then it goes to black and the battle is over like Days did. I did like Re:Coded a lot better than Days
Dracozombie repliedI didn't mind the lack of fight scenes. I was more bugged by the removal of important references, like the BBS one after Roxas falls into his coma.

The relationship development between characters was nearly non-existent in the movie. They basically just instantly went to being friends. I get they had to redo KHI from scratch and all, but the movie was terribly executed. It had its moments (Particularly the ending), but it could have used a lot more time. -
