So a couple of weeks until my deadline and... I'm still getting distracted. Dammit, I haven't even textured the damn thing for my 3D Model.
Oishii repliedIt depends on how far you go. My first thing I texture mapped the front looked good... but the back was a mess
But when you have to animate it has to be seamless
Good luck though. The best advice I can give is don't leave lighting to the last second. Good lighting can make even the crappiest texturing look good ^^ -

Lol teacher wanted to everyone in our class to make presentation of something which is American, I made from EA and when I putted picture of BF3 and Dead Space 2 on it she got all mad ad me and forced me to write essay: Why I play "killing" games -_-
Pavlovic Sarah repliedhahaha!! i had to write a similar one

well he did not like the essay as well
ssceles repliedIt's a simulated experience to get your adrenaline going. It's not just a game where you're killing things, those things are trying to kill YOU as well. Gaming experience is a great precursor to staying level-headed in real combat situations. Just write it off as early experimentation as to if you could handle joining the military.
Queen Tery replieda friend of mine did a powerpoint presentation on the educational value in violent video games. Examples he used were: Assassins Creed, Devil May Cry 4, Call of Duty, Red Dead Redemption, Grand Theft Auto, etc. The professor actually really liked his presentation and he got a pretty good grade.
Queen Tery repliedu are right. i had a pretty cool professor lol im like 99.999999999999999999% sure she wasnt a gamer, but after seeing his report, she agreed with his points and gave him a good grade. There's still hope in the world!!!!

TheApprenticeofKingMickey repliedI have never seen more, "this guy," or, "this girl," ever in my life.

Video games aren't harmful. O: I don' understand why anyone would say that. t
TheKingdomkid repliedIt's because people think it gives kids bad ideas and are to violent for them that they might do what they do in the game, like playing Call of Duty will make them so violent that they would shoot someone or something like that, its redikuls becuase the parents are the ones buying the game for the kid even though they shouldn't be playing them
Sapphrix (twilight denizen) XV repliedExactly, it doesn't make sense. Its not the games themselves, its the way they're interpreted. The parents argue, and yet they are the ones buying the games. ._.
Keyblade Master Xoncron repliedIt actually been proven that video games improve creativity in people, especially ones that have a plot and goal!
Queen Tery repliedthe only people that become aggressive because of video games are the people who would have become aggressive without them. Movies, literature, real life, etc. can all cause aggression from its audience. We have to be intelligent enough to differentiate playing a game and reality. If not than parents of young children, need to be aware of what they are buying their children.
Kaiso replied"they are the one buying the games" - That isn't necessarily the case. Their children could go out and buy it themselves, borrow from a friend, etc. there are ways children can avoid the age requirement to buy some of the mature games. Nonetheless there is more reasons than "oh the games are too violent and are a bad influence to my children." Another reason why people think video games are harmful is because of how unhealthy it is to sit around and do nothing but sit in f...
Kaiso repliedfront of a screen all day and with all the media that is out nowadays it's really hard for a parent to properly teach a child about the importance of a healthy body when they're stuck sitting behind a screen all day long. It's VERY VERY hazardous to a child's health over a long term if all they do is sit and play games.
Sapphrix (twilight denizen) XV repliedAgain. It's not the games themselves. It's the way the player chooses to interpret it.
Queen Tery repliedi should have worded it better, but for the most part children cant buy an m-rated game themselves because an I.D. is required to buy the game. yes, children can borrow it from a friend, but if the parent is involved enough they can prevent it themselves. but, many parents these days are too lazy to do it themselves. instead they act like its the video games fault that they're child is aggressive, when they're children can learn it from many other forms of media such as television, mu...
Queen Tery repliedmusic, literature, and even reality itself. its not the developers faults that the childrens parents can't monitor their own kids. the developers spent too much time working on their product, for it to be reduced to labels such as "brain-rotting" and "aggressive garbage." its art and if a child is too young to understand that then yes, they should not play it. but, those of us who can understand it should not suffer for their inability to understand it.
Sapphrix (twilight denizen) XV replied^^ well said.
most arguing this topic have neglected the fact to truly delve into it.

Mario Kart 7 is pretty cool. Not as good as I thought it'd be, though.
