I'm always partial to water types so of course Squirtle  

 

I think I may have picked Charmander once, but on the rest of the playthroughs it's always been Squirtle. 

First time I played it was my cousin's game and I picked squirtle. On my own game I picked bublasaur.

Charmander of course! I can never go wrong with Charmander.

Bulbasaur, always.

Definitely Charmander. Too cute, and I love Charizard

 

The anime made me love it even more

 

It is weird for me, because I like them all best depending on what stage they are in.

 

As far as the starters themselves, Squirtle wins by a mile! (opinion may or may not be influenced by the tv show).

 

As far as the "mid evolution" goes, I have always really liked Ivysaur since his evolution seems the most logical of the 3 (also really dig the design)

 

And as far as the final form, it is hard to argue that Charizard completely knocks it out of the park (even his mega evolutions are top notch)

(Or the early 90s cartoon had me love Charmander so much)

Squirtle in Blue Version.

 

Long story short, I didn't like the color red when I was a kid. I was thinking that Charmander was red and that's why I picked Blue Version over Red Version. 

Charmander because Charizard is one my favorite mons!

Charmander, because who doesn't like fire breathing dragons?

Never played it (or any pokemon game for that matter) but I'd pick charmander

I like Charmander and Bulbasaur about equal!
