I hope it's comes back because the two numbered titles have it. If Kingdom Hearts 3 doesn't have the "Weapon Choice" than it wouldn't feel right. It wouldn't feel like a true numbered title like Kingdom Hearts 1 and Kingdom Hearts 2.

Ability system is back so I think it will be there and maybe I'd choose Shield because I don't know what lies ahead and I like getting Once More/Second Chance early.

The shield if it gets me my Leaf Bracer as soon as possible.

Hopefully from what i saw kh3 will be in a lot of ways reminiscent to first game. Also i will play it on the highest difficulty right away so i would like to have my defense level up

Isnt that something you can buy at disney world?

I'd choose staff since KH3's combo look pretty bad while Thundaja seems like you'll be able to spam it as in 0.2.
