You stopped when he was looking for the fake arms? (If so, yeah, that's one of the most common places to stop) Anyways that is basically when the writer was trying to explain mechanics of the world without just giving a huge wall of text explaining the mechanics of the world. But know this a lot of the dialogue in the story is in chat log form, so, if you don't want to basically read tons and tons of instant messenger chat logs...don't read this comic.

That being said, it is fully possible to catch up, just read approx. 20-30 pages of it a day and you'll finish in probably a year. I personally had free time when I was catching up, so I read through it without moderation.

Probably; I cannot exactly remember. Because it apparently has a very confusing story, then it is probably not for me, anyway. I am currently stuck with trying to understand a lot of parts about the KH series story that I am still unclear about, as it is.

Really. Sick. Of. People. Who. Want. Guns. Outlawed. Seriously, what the heck!? You really think outlawing gun-use is gonna keep a lid on the gun violence? Which need I remind you is very little to begin with! It happens, yes thats true. But trying to make using guns illegal will only increase the gun violence that much more! And when that happens, then what!? What will we do then? Protect ourselves and be sent to jail or let the shooters blow us to kingdom come?

I can't say is it good to make the guns illegal in USA, because I don't live there but personally, I find it very scary that it's NOT illegal, or at least very strictly limited to have a gun there.. But that's just because I live in Finland myself and there's limited possibilities (though in my opinion they could be even more strictly limited) to own a gun here. There has been gun violence in Finland too but I really do belive there'd be a lot more if it was easier to get a gun.

[obnoxious rant mode]Now now now, how do you know the sexual preference of a BOOK? And anyways books don't even have genders, so I highly doubt they can be homosexual. Though maybe you meant it as happy. And given that the protagonists are hetrosexual, and I don't think they are really that happy, I would have to say that the contents of the book aren't gay. Unlike 50 shades of grey. [/obnoxious rant mode]

(comment isnt corresponding with the ones above me) I hate when you tell somebody you hate something and they keep trying to force and pressure you into "giving it a chance" or something.

I don't like RWBY, Pokemon, alcohol, competitive sports, cars, etc. and people CONSTANTLY FEEL THE NEED TO BE LIKE "ohhh just give it a chance" and shit. Like, no bitch. If I don't like it I don't like it. "But whyyy do you hate it?" , "Because I do.", "But whhhh-", none of your firetrucking business.

The Western world (Europe and America) are the source of all world problems. Also aliens haven't visited us because we aren't intelligent enough, we're just like wild animals who kill each other to them.

I really hate it when people who are dressed as Western-created fictional characters are referred to as 'cos-players'. 'Cos-play' only refers to costumes of Anime characters, and even then, they need to be well-made and impressive-looking. A person who dresses up as Spider Man does not have the right to call themselves a 'cos-player'.

...Is this your opinion or do you think it's a fact? Have you ever cosplayed (there's no hyphen or apostrophes, hold your horses there buddy) before? Do you cosplay?

Go to an anime convention (sometimes comic or video game conventions; you may or may not see a few cosplayers depending) and you won't see JUST anime, but also Western characters cosplayed as well. What is anime? It's basically cartoons that are Japanese, right? But they're still cartoons.

"Posted Image"

Sure, cosplay is most usually referred to people dressed up as characters from Japanese anime, but it STILL applies to any work of fiction. If not, then tell all the Harry Potter, Homestuck, Avatar, Marvel, DC, Disney and other cosplayers to go home (but they wouldn't, anyways).

I know this is the unpopular opinions thread for a reason, but I think (and this could be considered my unpopular opinion) that is this fact.

I'm not trying to come off as rude n shit, but cosplay literally means "costume play". You can be anything you want. Percy Jackson. Tom Cruise. A tree. It's expressing yourselves through means of costume, and limiting it to just anime would be terribly boring.

**Edit: adding more

Although the term "cosplay" isn't used as much over here, it's still the same thing. It means costume play, that's all. It doesn't mean "cosDRESS UP AS A SUPAH KAWAIIDESUNE ANIMU CHARACTERUplay".

And that's fine if you don't consider Western-created characters apart of the word "cosplay", but the fact is, that well, it is. And there is no *requirement* for cosplay; if people are making their costumes, they may be amazing and skilled in what they do, or a total noob! Any costume, well-done or poorly-done, is still cosplay. Sure, some people put more effort into their outfits. Sure, some people have more talent than others, or more money than others. So long as the wig is good, costume doesn't matter ♥.

But yeah. As long as someone is having fun and they want to call their costume cosplay, that's perfectly fine! I guess the only thing that wouldn't count is a cheap Halloween costume; UNLESS it's a very good Halloween costume, of a character (real character or fanmade, dnt mattah!)

I would not be caught dead doing that. I am extremely embarrassment-prone.

I refuse to believe that Anime can be referred to as a genre of cartoons. The majority of Anime has far more work put into it than most Western series. I do not think that non-Anime costumes being referred to as "cos-play" is a fact, because the word has a Japanese origin, and so should only refer to costumes of Japanese influence.

I do not see how limiting it to Anime would make it boring. Anime often contains the most creative of character designs, so excluding Western-influenced costumes is no big loss.

I do not think that you are correct. Proper "cos-plays" often involve appearance alterations such as body paint, hair dye, and coloured contacts; these are not found in regular costumes.

It is unacceptable to accept a costume of any nature as being "cos-play". They need to have work put into them, and they need to look impressive. They often involve work such as sewing and painting from their creators so that they can reach a state of perfection.

No matter what you say, if somebody wants to cosplay as Deadpool, Loki, or firetruckin' Harley Quinn, it's still regarded as cosplay by a large majority of people. You're probably not aware but people in these conventions are typically very kind and welcoming to eachother, and wouldn't give a rats ass who you're being because you all have one thing in common - dressing up as fictional characters from anything western, eastern, northern, southern, from outer space w/f/e.

"State of perfection"? Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, I guess the same can go for costumes. If a person puts their heart and soul into a costume and it isn't some sort of wow-factor, well, the only thing that matters is they are happy and have fun in their costumes. They don't NEED to look impressive, not everybody has an ounce of fcking talent. Even if it looks like total shit, if they're having a blast and calling it cosplay, then it's cosplay.

It doesn't just pertain to anime, whether you're in favour of it to not that's FINE but people have EVERY RIGHT to dress up as any character they want to, from whatever the hell they want to. So you say the word the word has a Japanese origin, but you can't deny that it literally means "costume play". Costume. People all around the world wear costumes.

I don't have a PhD in cosplay, so I am taking yet another piece from the Wikipedia article and am posting it here for you:

Cosplay is just a term. An abstract thought. I don't know if Star Wars, X-men or whatever conventions are still around, but those COULD have been considered "cosplay". It just means costume play. THE ORIGIN IS IRRELEVANT. PAY ATTENTION TO THE MEANING. It's not limited to Japanese-only costumes; I mean if you don't want to accept that then fine, that's cool, alright you do that, but you're very rude to say that they don't have the right to say they're in cosplay.

Unless this " 'cos-play' " thing is different from "cosplay" then this whole conversation would be awkward idk man

The only reason for why I am hyphenating the word is because it is not accepted as being a word when I type it, and I do not like the red underlines.

A person does not have the right to call their accessorised appearance 'cos-play' if they did not put hours of hard work into making their costumes. The only way a person who has a very simple kind of costume on can be deemed to be 'cos-playing' is if other people call it that; otherwise, they do not have the right to say that they are 'cos-playing'. If you were to hold the Japanese culture in as high a regard as I do, then you would understand that I think that a person referring to themselves with a Japanese-made word seems arrogant. A person does not have the right to call themselves a 'cos-player' if they did little more than put on a costume that they did not put hard work into making themselves; or something else of that nature.

I suppose that I would not have a problem with Western people dressing as Western creations if they simply did not call it 'cos-playing'. This is not the correct term, and besides, if so many people in the Western world simply called it 'dressing up' for so long, then why change that? Do people want to sound strange or unique when they dress up as a Western creation by calling it 'cos-playing'? I do not understand the logic in that.

People can put on whatever they want and go to a convention, but if they did not put hard work into it, and it is not of Japanese origin, then the person who is wearing it cannot call themselves a 'cos-player'. If a person put a lot of hard work into making a 'cos-play' that is derived from something of Japanese origin, then they can, by all means, call it a 'cos-play', but if a person was to, for example, paint themselves yellow, shave their head to near-baldness, and put on a white shirt and blue pants (you should know who I am talking about), then they can only be deemed a 'cos-player' if that is the decision of others. I regard having the title of 'cos-player' as being an honour, which is clearly not true in your case.

I think I find anime kinda boring to watch now and prefer disney cartoons & films.

Its possable I really think that.....or have for awhile. O_o;

But defenetly worth posting in this thread, regards.

For how "boring" an anime is really depends on two things, if you like the story, and the pacing. Some animes it will take episodes to get anything worthwhile done, and in other animes episodes will feel much closer to the standard pacing of shows from the US.

(New opinion) That if someone isn't going to take the time to take proper care of a medium to large dog's exercise needs, or enough space for them to live comfortably, they should either have no dog or a small dog. (exception is for service dogs, those probably would bit a bit useless if they were small)

I guess; to me, anime is either too 'violent' (violence just....annoys me xP) or the cute, less violent animes like don't seem to have all that interesting a story....or something. Disney has a nice balence.

I like the pokemon anime, though. Always kinda makes me smile and chuckle. xD

Then again, I love anything to do with pokemon xD mostly.

I like to think of fairies as like Tinkerbell. Is that so wrong of me?

I don't think you understand here. They CAN call themselves a cosplayer. That is a FACT. I'm done trying to reason with you, and who are you one to talk? You said so yourself, you don't even cosplay. So please, stop acting like you're some sort of missionary, or spokesperson for people who do cosplay - and cosplay from whatever they want, whether it's an anime like Yugioh or a Western cartoon like Spongebob. And frankly, I don't give a rats ass how "high you regard the Japanese culture" - because you know what comes before culture? PEOPLE. I am considerate to PEOPLE by saying that anyone can cosplay of ANY character from ANY work of fiction. If they are having fun, then I don't know about you but I don't want to be that guy who ruins it for them.As I said, you can think whatever you want - nobody can take that away from you. But don't be that one asshole at conventios who gives people who aren't cosplaying from an anime dirty looks, or call them out on it. You're entitled to your opinion but you have no right, to tell OTHERS they they have no right, to cosplay as Western-created characters. That's all I have left to say on the matter. I'm just defending the hundreds of thousands of people who cosplay from things that aren't Japanese ^________^b

You have not convinced me, but I am not going to argue any longer. I would just be repeating myself, and I am definitely not going to change your opinion with whatever I say. I also do not want you to regard me as some sort of whiny nuisance.

In an unrelated opinion, although I have known about Pokémon for most of my life, I absolutely cannot stand listening to the original ("I want to be, the very best...") intro theme of the Anime. I do not like the Anime in general either, but I would rather watch five episodes of the Anime than listen to that theme once.

Sometimes,i hate waiting, seriously.I was waiting for buying 1.5 when i had a chance to go shopping with my family and i said to my mom that i really want to buy that game but in the end,my mom forgot about it when she buy some of the things she needs and she said we can buy the game later on since time was not on our side.I didn't mad that Mom wants to buy what she wants, but I just REALLY NEED THAT GAME FAST!!

You can have whatever opinions you like, just don't go on Cosplay.com and repeat what you said here, or you'll have a bad time :)

I don't get why people just instantly shoot down Star Wars for KH3. I mean really, Nomura is a huge Star Wars fan...if it's done well and makes sense then it would be great.

also Sega Genesis is better than Snes

Private schools shouldn't have to wear uniforms.

haha. i'm at a private boarding school and we dont wear uniforms. thank the great kingdom hearts for that.

Continuing on with my own unpopular opinion...

I think modern pop is stupid and unoriginal. And despite that i'm full 100% korean, i HATE K POP. I don't like all pop in general except for J POP. and here's why.

it seems that all pop today is corrupted. i don't mind that love is a great and inspiring thing. but i'm not saying the topic is overused. i'm saying the way it's sung about is super repetitive. all of the boy groups or singers are woeing about how they lost their girl and they broke up and are depressed while all the girl groups and singers are being repetitive about how think this one guy is super cute and is all beautiful. sure i understand, but could someone start singing like Adam Young did in 2009 for a change? something unique using great metaphors or just switching topics in general. just like vocaloid. Vocaloid is a great example of such a great genre. apparently vocaloid users make friggin SONG SERIES, songs about bullying, terrorism, rapists, life, going to work; they can just get any topic and make a beautiful, relatable, and deep song about it.  I just wonder since we're all human here why no songwriter is smart enough to pick up a pen and start writing about something else other than a girl cheated on him.

another one. the xbox one is great. it's awesome...just kidding it's terrible.

Here's an unpopular opinion. Nothing in KH ever makes sense. EVER. The more you explain it, the less sense it makes. Just roll with it.

"Kingdom Hearts IS LIGHT!" *burst of light destroy's Ansem SOD* *door opens to the realm of darkness*

(new opinion)I wouldn't mind bugs that much if some of them weren't deadly.
