I love how people always put the blame on music, video games and other media when it comes to violence in America. Yet, there never think to put the blame on the leaders of our country that are always dropping bombs on places.

The terrorists place their weapons on public places like hospitals and schools. They are putting their civilians in that position and they are using it against us. Its sad really, but if you had people shooting missiles on top of your roof you would want them gone anyways.

Not saying it's always bad. Just saying media isnt as big a thing as the heads of the country. Yet they are always trying to put the blame on some form of media.

Honestly there are plenty of "violent" media that have great stories, themes, and morals. The violence is just action to help progress the story.

Indeed.

I am saying indeed cause I lack the ability to like.

They try to blame it because they suck at parenting.

They try to blame it because they suck at parenting.

That reminds me of when I was younger, probably around 10 or so, and I was watching my, at the time 14 year old cousin playing an M-rated game. My aunt, his mother, walked in and saw what he was playing. She didn't get angry at the game. She didn't get angry at the company. She didn't file complaints. She brought my grandfather in, she explained to him the rating system and that she didn't want my cousin to play those games. My grandfather had just been buying him games unaware that they were rated. She told my cousin to get all his M-rated games and that she was getting rid of them. She didn't blame the games for anything, she just took action in keeping them out of his possession like a good parent should.

My grandpa was always trying to stop us from playing m rated games. But my grandma was always saying, "they will be fine. they are smart kids". I haven't killed anyone....Yet.

I remember in one of my college English classes, a guy did a project about how violent video games can be educational too. I raised my hand in the middle of it and said "I play violent video games too and I've never killed a guy." xD

Your aunt is a great parent, this is how you teach your kids.

While we're on the subject of video games and media being blamed for the violence and shit...

I think games need a new rating system. E-T-M-A is not working.

I say this for a lot of reasons, that I'm not going into right now because I'm too lazy to put it to words. To summarize the idea involves adding a new rating subcategory that goes inbetween Mature and Adult rated games.

All of the whining that people are doing about Pokemon Bank being delayed really bugs me. Yes, I'm excited for Pokemon Bank. No, I'm not going to hate Nintendo and Game Freak for delaying an application due to it causing their servers to crash for two days straight. Why people would rather have an incredibly buggy application than wait an extra month to get a fixed version that makes us all happy is beyond me.

And yeah, I know it's out in Japan now. :/ I hope it comes out soon so people stop complaining.

I completely agree. Like, compare BioShock Infinite to Grand Theft Auto 5. Both are rated M, but GTA5 is SO much more adult than BioShock Infinite is. But they're given the same rating.

You pretty much just put into words what I was thinking.

To be honest, I think it's kinda annoying when people use GIFs for pretty much all of their reactions to anything. I mean, I can understand when it's used as a joke, but when I see someone use a GIF in reaction to an actual piece of writing, it makes me think they didn't even care and are just trying to throw out a post. I just don't think it's all that respectful to give someone a thoughtless response like that. :/ I mean, at least like it or something, you don't need to clog the thread with an extra post of some GIF or whatever.

I find it more annnoying when people repost the same gif for responses, or if their post is literally just a gif and nothing else. Like dayum, I know a picture's worth a thousand words but at least be original about it.

I'm trying not to offend anybody because I'm sure there will be someone who reads this who does this, but if you choose diet soda over regular soda and claim it's healthier I will laugh at you, like don't even drink a soda at all if that's your reasoning

I tell my mom this every time she buys diet. She responds by saying she prefers the flavor, which I personally find more ridiculous than drinking it because it's supposed to be healthier (I seriously hate the flavor of diet sodas). X_X

leather jackets >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> all other jackets

Yesss I'm wearing one now, it's probably one of my favorite pieces of clothing.

Skinny jeans and leggeings are FAR better than boot cut jeans.

Camo print bottoms looks awesome with a black California shirt, jacket or hoodie.

Messy buns do not look good on everyone.

When it comes to gaming websites and forums, I am SO sick and tired of the "Who plays COD, I play COD, add me I play COD" threads. I swear to god that's like 40% of the threads made. I get the point, everyone plays COD. Just make a whole COD player topic just so that everyone csn stop.making threads about them.

I support local sport clubs.

People might not live in big cities or whatever, but they should support their local sport clubs, to rise up in the ranks (:
