I find it beyond annoying when I can't immediately understand a post. I feel like if I take the time to write proper sentences, other people should too. I'm not nuts or anything, everyone makes mistak

  • It's hard for me not to judge people based on their grammar and spelling, but after interacting with so many people whose first language isn't English, I'm getting better about not passing judgments,

  • I lol at people who say this isn't school and spelling isn't important, and feel sorry for them. That answer your question?

Blantant misspellings are annoying, but I'm okay w/ people making mistakes.

Basically I dont want NO ONE to write like this:

S0 W3 G0T T0 G0 T0 TH3 P@RK @ND D0 0TH3R STUFF GUR1111111!! (not homestuck, just those annoying unreadable text) (worse than this)

I'm fine with the occasional typo (I make plenty of them), but not the butchering of a language.

I have to read my sisters papers so I am completely alright with mistype grammar because I can understand that and messing writing.

I think it is of the utmost importance. I don't think you need to type perfectly all the time but as long as you have proper, spelling and punctuation at the flip of a switch if you need it to be, I think it's mainly alright if your writing isn't perfect.

1V4N W1LL K1LL M3 BUT 1F TH1S 1S HOW YOU CONST4NTLY TYP3 STOP

As long i can read what they're saying, im good

I don't think it is really important at all. As long as it is comprehensible and I do understand what you meant. :D

I think it is very important to have proper grammer and spelling when typing online. I can understand a typo here and there, but when I can't understand what the person is trying to communicate it drives me crazy.

It's pretty important to me. I'm fine with an occasional error.

But not when people purposely create errors, insert numbers in words (LIk3 D1S)

and just plain butcher languages.

I only mind when I don't know wtf they're trying to say. Otherwise, I don't really care. It's the internet, let me shut my brain off for a while and chillax. <3

I don't care as long as I can read it. Now.........

Not that important but, when you start writing in a way that goes agaisn't all that we are taught in America then we have a problem.

EX: 1 H8 tat dooch becuz H 3 A1T' guuuch1 (This is not acceptible!!)

However, if you mispelled something like I probally did right here ^ then it's ok.

In the modern era, spelling is almost a non-issue with spell check readily available. Grammar itself is excusable. If your sentence structure is confusing, that's fine, I'll just assume English isn't your first language. But if you're not even trying to use proper capitalization and punctuation, in an effort to save time? I'm just going to save time and probably not respond to you. Making first impressions with total strangers is important. It's not just for school, it's for the real world. I'm not going to take you seriously if you act like you don't care.

I really hope people don't shuffle around and mumble without coherent ends and beginnings to their sentences in real life.

tl;dr - I laugh at the people who don't even try. And not in a good way. If you're like me, you might appreciate this YouTube series:

Anyway, I'm home now.

Very Important.

doesnt really matter to me as long as i can read it sometimes i mispell as well like im not so sure i spelled mispell rightXD........(;A;)

Grammar isn't really a big deal with me but I would at least like to know what they are saying.... otherwise spelling isn't really a big deal either.

But text language.... I just can't stand it..... it's horrible!

Aslong as it's understandable I don't mind if their grammar isn't that great.

As long as I can understand it, Im fine with it.

When I'm online I don't give a damn about spelling and grammar as long as I understand the message, but offline especially on applications if I find one spelling mistake, it goes straight into the trash can.
