Hi, so I'm pretty sure everyone knows that I'm pretty sex positive. I thought it'd be a good idea to make this thread to have discussions and just educate everyone
First of all, sex is natural.
Sex is good.
Sex doesn't have to wait till you're married (but it's fine if you do).
Sex doesn't have to be between a man and a woman.
Sex doesn't have to be painful (sometimes it is, sometimes it's not, depending on the preperation prior).
Having sex at a young age does not take away your self worth or self respect.
Not having sex does not make you a prude.
Exploring your sexuality is fine and encouraged.
I do not believe in the stupid sex ed abstinence programs that tell you horror stories about sex and scare you. That is bullshit. If you want to have sex DO IT. If you want to masturbate DO IT. If you want to watch porn DO IT. It's YOUR body and you can do what you wish with it. Just be safe and use protection to avoid STDs and unwanted pregnancies.
Now I believe most kids actually start showing masturbatory tendencies at young ages (not really knowing what they're doing) and many times parents discourage them from exploring their sexuality. That is just no don't do that. It's fine and wonderful to explore your sexuality! Never shame anyone for indulging in sex or masturbation because it's perfectly natural to have urges.
Now, I don't know how to explain everything about sex and what I do know I can't put into words so I'll share videos by one of my favourite youtubers lacigreen (who explains things very well) throughout this thread
My biggest problem with what most people are taught about sex is that having sex makes you lesser than others. Slut shaming is really awful and no one should judge someone else for enjoying sex. Some people even go to the extent of shaming people who LOOK sexually promiscuous. The amount of skin someone shows does not determine their self worth either.
