Why is it that many people dont like the kh 3d story?

Posted

Many think that the mark of mastery was unnecessary. Well i was thinking the same thing, but thats before i actually saw the game. Sora and Riku traveled to the RoS to awaken the sleeping worlds... mhm... only? :P

No its not only that! Both sora and riku unlocked keyholes and they were 7.Dont count 2 at traverse town, that was YMXs doing to fck up the town and try to catch sora earlier. He just converted riku's dream traverse town into the same situation as the other town to split up the twewy gang, yet the towns were separate. Thats why sora and riku could see each other. Even yen sid said it: << Riku is the 1 who unlocked ALL the keyholes>>.

Ok now count smthing xD: Roxas, axel, namine, xion, ventus, aqua, terra = Rikus keyholes... yep 7, the 7th keyhole at destiny islands affected ventus as the rest 6 affected smone else.Besides why would riku wake up a dream within a dream.. no.. he was wakin up those who are connected within sora. ( Lea woke up as soon as riku sealed, or should i say unlocked a keyhole... ) Therefore, sora got weaker ( kh re:coded's warning from data roxas: you cant bear their hurting and youll fall into darkness ).

Now,now.. the time travel really covers some kh2 plotholes lol. Thats the: Xemnas when his kh got completed, he wanted to kill sora. Yet the members attacked sora separately LOL. So i believe ( and makes too much sense ) that when Ansem sod went to the past and told YMX blah blah blah... YMX magically affected those he needed to affect while he was traveling forward through time. Eventually, he reached xemnas ( during kh2, ). He told him that without xemnas' death, MX couldnt get revived and if he would kill sora they would be 2 vessels short. ( im pretty sure xemnas knew about the backup plan ansem sod did, since he and xemnas are the same person anyway lolz ). So xemnas was in dilemma, but he decided to attack sora separately to test him if he was a worthy vessel. He died, but he didnt care :P.

In kh 3d ymx and ansem sod ( and the other xehanorts prolly ). want to get rid of riku... but in the same time they dont, cause hes a guardian of light, and MX doesnt want to wait til another one shows up if riku dies. But eventually MX and ansem tried to killed him since he was a problem. They failed tho.. but cause of Lea :) Does the story seem better now? :)

I feel like I remember hatok not liking it. Not sure why, and I might be wrong though...

I though it was pretty average. Not as bad as re:coded, but probably on par with 358/2 days. The plot had little substance to add to the overall story of the series. They could have summed it up in a small part of the next game.

My logic is undeniable.

Technically the point of the exam was to unlock the keyhole and (wait for it) BRING BACK A NEW POWER!!!!!

both sora and riku unlocked 7 keyholes but only riku obtained the new power, diving into other's hearts and releasing their true selves! sora didn't because YMX messed with his heart so it needed someone to dive in it, riku. I agree with the rest, and critics don't know jack! :)

Many of my German KH Companions said the Story in KH3D was the worst ever... I don't really know why and I can't understand them, I wanted KH3D since it was announced and my expectations have been met ... I really like the Story cause it adds a very big mysterious part to the KH Universe and it's pretty cool that this Game's center was Riku's growth ~ I have no complains towards the Story

But thats what kh 3d is supposed to be :) bbs is kh0, kh1 is main as kh 2 is. The rest are bridge games. Personally kh 3d is the best bridge game for me, better than re:com, days, and re:coded. Not specifically in terms of story.. but in an overall aspect. I totally agree to your last sentence, but ya know... i like it this way due to awesome gameplay.

Okay here's the deal, BBS is also a bridge game. Yes its a prequel but its still a side game

KH3D IS definitely unnecessary. Itès very clearly a chunk of plot from KH3, expanded and made into its own game. Now, I stand by what I've been saying for a while now, but the cutscenes at the end of the game are AMAZING. Best cutscenes in KH. But overall, it's a rather meh, and rather short, story.

No. It's KH0

Yeah the Cutscenes at the end are awesome *-* I'm still hyped cause of Young Xehanorts explanations @.@

I think the Disney-Story in each world is really too short, but the whole Xehanization 13 thing compensate it imo :P

No. It's KH0

It's only called like that, it is also just a Sidegame, isn't it?

exactly

Nomura called in KH0

yet it doesn't count as a numbered title

I like the story. I just wish I had the next part already, which is the right emotion they'd want to evoke from a game saga.

exactly

yet it doesn't count as a numbered title

It's on par with both Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II, that's good enough isn't it?

Then there is no concept of bridge games! Well there shouldn't be at least.

Here's how i see it, those with the title "Kingdom Hearts" in them should be the main games whilst those that do not are the bridge games, here's what i mean, ahem:

Kingdom Hearts.

Chain of Memories and Reverse/Rebirth->Kingdom Hearts II.

358/2 Days->Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep.

Coded->Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance.

Wow. Mr. KingdomKarts really doesn't get the real story of KH3D.

I'm not going to be the helpful jerk and set things straight, so I'm gonna leave and let you get even more confused within the plot.

Why wouldn't it? It matches the scale of a numbered game. It's as important as a numbered game. It's CALLED a numbered game by the creator of the series...

KH3D is just as important as BbS (I think Nomura said it's even a bit more important than BbS, or not? o_o) and Nomura said it's just not a numbered title because of its length, but would you call KH3D a numbered Title?

BbS would have been named KH0 or something like that, if it was scheduled to be a Main Title ~ But it wasn't, so IMO it's out of question if it is or not and blah blah xD

I dont see your point, they all have Kingdom Hearts IN THE TITLE!

KH3D is WAY less important than BBS. BBS introduced the main man behind all of the other games. It established the connections between TAV to Sora and co.

It establishes the Keyblade Graveyard... it's a vital piece of KH

DDD will never be any more of a numbered title than CoM

And KH3D is on par with it so why is THAT unnecessary?

It's far from par with BBS (See above)

Yes but the bridge games lead up to the ones that have the arrows next to them, hence, the next games.

I havent seen peoples complaining about its story. They just didnt like time travel theme, cause they didnt understand it much (even though it was easy to)

Nope o: I'm pretty sure Nomura said KH3D is more important or maybe as important as BbS. (Yeah, yeah, I AM searching for this interview ~.~)

Punch me if I'm mistaken. :P

I say the more the merrier, they can keep adding more games/stories and characters and anything really. And in the end I'll STILL LOVE KH SERIES 4 EVER!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Well now you're the one arguing with Nomura San!
