Has the power to wield the keyblade? Aqua recognized that Riku could, so I figure these (potential) Keyblade wielders must have this "magic" they give off that Keyblade Masters can sense.

Hmmm..... I don't really think so, since Lea begged to become a wielder. He wasn't like Riku or Sora where it was bestowed upon them.

Maybe? Norty didn't really give him the light of day....he might know, or be able to sense it, but he didn't seem to really care. o-o;

Well all the others could be very true and MX does have Saix/isa who was bestfriends with lea/axel so they would be connected making lea conn. to MX since he give him a part of his heart and darkness.

Poor Isa getting himself brainwashed and lose a good friend. Now that I say this, I dont think he was aware that he was nortified.

I don't think MX was aware of Lea's keyblade at that time, but he'll probably find out eventually

Besides, when Lea saved Sora, he didn't really have that ability yet. He literally FIRST wielded his keyblade at the end of the game, when everybody was like "Whaaaa??"

It would be a slap in the face for Xemnas if they do find out about Lea's wielding abilities haha, he would be like "I wasted all my time with Roxas and Xion, and didn't even know that I could have used Axel/Lea." Of course Lea can wield a keyblade where as Axel can't but you get the jist

I think that Axel's friendship with Roxas allowed him to become a Keyblade wielder. I think MX knew that, but he really does not seem concerned about it.

 

Thought Lea had the ability to wield the Keyblade, he needed Master Yen Sid to allow him to wield it. To prepare Lea for the rescue of Sora, Yen Sid had Merlin and the three good faries train Lea in a time compressed setting. Yen Sid did not think that Lea would be able to use the Keyblade so soon after his intial training.

No. Lea's keyblade appeared ta the end and his training began at the end too. MX is certainly expecting 7 lights, but I'm sure he doesn't know that Lea's gonna be one of them.

Also I see a really epic battle between Lea and Isa coming in the future >=)

I want to say that MX sensed something special in Lea. Like Terra saw potential for Riku when they meet due to Riku saying he wants to protect everything speecial to him. Lea has also made a big promise saying that he will always bring his friends back. I'm sure MX sees that Lea's heart is strong and is keyblade worthy.

well they can sense when the power of the keyblade is passed from a master to an apprentice....Lea's case was different...even with his training he says that it was hard to materialize the keyblade and he only did it in the end of the ending..so I don't think MX knows

He's the bad guy, he'll find out eventually behind the scenes.

Even if he did know Lea could wield a keyblade, I don't think it would bother him. After all, he's expecting 7 guardians of light. He might just think Lea is the replacement for Terra, who is currently on the dark side.

This is even funnier, because of all the characters in the series I think only Lea could pull off being a big middle finger to Xehanort and his plans, I mean combined with his already bad ass personality, the designated role of walking middle finger is only perfect for Lea and no one else lol.

But don't you have to weild a keyblade in order to train with a keyblade, or am I missing something? We didn't see the training session, so I don't know for sure, but I doubt that that was the first time Lea wielded a keyblade. Although it could have been the first time he summened it.

I don't think it'd matter too much if Xehanort knew.

But he probably would have known or guessed or sensed or seen the future or some thing.

He did not count Lea in as one of the wielders so he pretty much does not know about it.

Xehanort doesn't really care about keyblades any more.

I'd say it's a definate yes that Xehanort knows he can, sense the requirements for becoming a humaniform Nobody is the same for wielding a Keyblade, and he probably suspects that he will learn, but he might not have expected him to learn how to use it so quickly.
