I think he associates being friends with anyone close friends with Aqua and Ven as also his friend . Thats my theory anyways

He kind of did but your right I guess mickey thinks everyone is his friend.

Well Mickey can't say: "My two friends and that guy, Terra."

If Mickey met Terra, things might have gone a little better in the plot. DX

I guess for Mickey, a friend of Aqua and Ventus is a friend of his.

omg i never thought about that !! but when you think about it he kinda did. In kh2 , in hollow bastion in the 1000 heartless battle when Xemnas too his hood off , Mickey remembered that he saw Apprentice Xehanort who is in fact Terra

It's more like the other way around. Mickey thought he could add a new friend, but hatok saw right through him...

And yeah, I never thought about that too... that detail passed completely unnoticed by me...

But did he know Terra had become Terranort? i don't think that was ever really touched upon. Aqua couldn't really have told him or anything, she didn't know when they were at Yen Sid's tower, I don't think.

Lets just let Mickey think what he wants.

Omg, I thought the same thing! The 1st time I watched that, I was just, "Mickey stfu, you never even met Terra." xDD

What you don't know is that, in fact...

From what I've seen in the original Japanese translation, Mickey says something that could be translated as (to Xehanort) "It's your fault those three youths lives were changed forever!" and when he is counting how many lights: "those three missing people." I guess it was changed as those words didn't sound good.

Mickey is clearly only now suffering the affects of advancing through the floors in Castle Obvlivion so the poor guy's memory's a little fuzzed up. Go easy on him.

 

Why earlier when he talked about how he'd follow the bonds of the heart to find Riku he goes "That's something Master Aqua taught me once." Nope, you got that from Yen Sid, Your Majesty. >_>

Terra did run into Mickey when he was leaving the tower, but they never talked. And I don't think think he would have recognized MX as Terra because he looked so different - hair grows so fast in the KH world.
