That game from your childhood that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Posted

You guys know what I'm talking about right? Those games that when you start playing again it brings back a very joyful time in your life.

For me that game is Megaman X. I remember spending weeks on that game. When I finally beat Sigma I was so proud of myself. I jump for joy. What games bring back those warm feelings of nostalgia for you guys?

Kingdom hearts 1. It was one of the first video games I played and everytime I play it I get very nostalgic.

Frogger, for PS1. I remember coming home from school, opening a can of Raviolis, then jumping to the game before my brother could grab it.

Sadly the disc broke...

Harry Potter 1, 2, and 3 for the PC. Some of the first video games I ever owned, and my brother and I played them so many times. Heck, I could still play those games and enjoy them.

Pokemon Crystal. My first ever game, I still love playing it.

Pokémon Red, definitely.

I didn't play Kingdom Hearts when it came out as I didn't know about it, but that game is also special to me because I played it once at my friend's house and loved it, but I never remembered what it was called. He moved country, we didn't keep in touch, but about 3 years later I saw 358/2Days in the local GAME store, and the moment I saw the name 'Kingdom Hearts' I knew it was the same series I'd played years ago and bought it on the spot. Now it's my favourite videogame series and I've got several other people into it too, which is nice.

Final Fantasy VII

Before KH, well Pokemon Silver for me. I haven't played it since then but thinking about it makes me feel warm inside.

KH 358/2 Days :D My first game in the series. It has a special place in my heart, and I always tear up when I'm barely ten seconds into the game. :(

There was so much i can't just fit it. So it was usually the Sonic Games, Super Mario World, Yoshi's island. Tons.

Golden Sun and Pokemon Trading Card Game for Gameboy.

Crash Bandicoot Twinsanity. Such nostalgia and with its fun gameplay and goofy humor I loved it. (For ps2)

Paper Mario and Diddy Kong Racing. PM was my first RPG (at the ripe old age of 7) and I played the latter with my family all the time.

I want to say KH but that was more my pre-teen years than my childhood, even though I did pick up KH1 when I was 7 or 8, the games of my childhood made me a nintendo girl lol, likee zelda oracle of ages for gbc, pokemon blue, gold, and sapphire version, and can't forget super smash bros for n64, and ssbm.

Pokemon Crystal. My save still works, so I play it on and off even to this day.

Besides that, probably the Gamecube remake of Resident Evil (though that's more pre-teen than childhood). It's still a friggin beautiful game, even though it's a decade old. I don't play it often, but when I do, the nostalgia is strong.

I used to really like that game too. I tried playing it again recently, though, and ragequit on the final boss because of Nina's stupid glitchy grappling. It's a decent game, but needed work on the coding.

Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer and Pokémon Silver.

Ah the good memories of playing Pokémon Silver non-stop during my uncle's wedding xD

Super Mario World on the GBA was the first game I ever owned. As a kid, I couldn't get past Iggy without help(I was 7, OK...). Before I lost it, I had gotten to Cheese Bridge or something like that. However, I probably have more nostalgia for Mario Party 4 and 6, since I played those with friends. I still remember two specific minigames, even though it was a long time ago. I remember a 2v2 ice climbing one from 4 and a 1v3 microphone game with a robot fight. I only recently found that 1v3 again, it's called Verbal Assault.

Space Wars for the VecTrex.

That was the first game I have ever played. It was lame but I still love it!

Uh, the eighties, what a wonderful time.

Too bad that I was not born in them.

Aside from that I would say Pokémon Silver. I did not own a GBC, so had to play it on my TV. That was awesome!

Spyro the Dragon 2 ! The one with Ripto as the baddie.

Pokemon Yellow Version and Paper Mario for the N64. So many memories frim being stuck for days in one specific part of both games. (Brock and finding Dry Dry Ruins, latter not giving ANY clues!)

Megaman X

Golden Sun

Pokemon Blue (first game I ever owned personally)

Paper Mario

Donkey Kong Country

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Thunder Force IV for the Sega Genesis.
