When playing fighting games, what kind of fighter do you usually play as? The heavy hitters? The speedsters? The ones who have moves that take forever to master, but are well worth your time if you do?
I always seem to choose the heavier characters for fighting games. In Soul Calibur, I play as Astaroth, in Super Smash Bros. as Ganondorf, in Street Fighter as Honda, etc. It's odd, because in RPGs I like playing as Mages because you can't just slug your way through, but in fighting games, I like just cleaning the other guy's clock. Also, contrary to popular belief, there is a skill set required in mastering the heavy characters, usually because the timing is so slow and you have to account for the extra time needed to hit the enemy.

So, yes, who do you fight as in a fighting game?
