Aqua, for sure. She showed me how important friends truly are and that we must do anything we can to aid them in a time of need.

Definitely Aqua. She sacrificed herself to save others, and she shows how important friends are. :)

Definitely Sora. Because it takes a lot of Courage to just sacrifice your heart for another. But even more so when you love the person so dearly. Plus It takes a lot of courage to stand up and fight for your friends in their time of greatest need.

When I saw this question I had no idea how to answer it.  I was going to pick Roxas because he gave me something good to associate with the number 13, and I no longer have problems with that number.  Then I read this:

Axel/Lea because he has lived a hard life and has constantly lost what mattered to him most but yet still fights relentlessly on to bring back the things/people that matter most to him no matter what the cost.

and I realized how true it was, not just for Axel/Lea but for me as well.  Just like him, I've had people above me constantly trying to drag me down, and right now I'm totally proving them wrong.  But I learned all of those lessons before I became a Kingdom Hearts fan, so I'm still going with Roxas.

Really hesitated on whether or not I should choose Riku or Roxas, but I ended up voting Xion, because...

Xion showed what it is to love someone so much you would give up your life for them. When Xion forced Roxas to attack her, she did it so he would live. She knew she would be wiped from existence, and that any memory of her would be forgotten, and even Roxas wouldn't remember her when she was gone. Yet she chose to sacrifice herself so he wouldn't die.

That's some kind of special love right there, if you ask me.

I couldn't decide, but I settled with Roxas and Aqua both. They never gave up on their friends, even when it may seem you can't trust them anymore. And also, friends don't just come and go, they can find a place in your heart can stay there forever.

Roxas because his hair is fabulous.

Marluxia, He taught me that pink hair is manly :D Event though i could care less about being manly.

At first I wasn't planning on writing anything because I don't have a character that's impacted be in a "romantic" way, such as character "A" taught me about friendship or character "B" made me have fuzzy feels and is so awesome because of how sacrificial they are, but after more consideration I think the character that's impacted me the most is one I don't even consider so much a character than a concept, one that has the depth of a dry puddle, zero character development, and enough characterization that I can fill my palm with but still somehow manged to grab my attention. Vanitas, that glorious bastard, who lives only to fight and troll others and tries his damnedest to see the world burn (even if he utterly fails at it) for no other reason than because he can, has probably had more impact on me for sheer charisma and, for better or for worse, the fanwank he provides because he was left so open ended, to which has given me hours of entertainment and inspiration that's priceless to me, so take it as you will, but this shallow hole of a character that's little more than a glorified concept but a deliciously deceitful dick of dark decay has had more impact on me than the other characters.

Sora, he never gives up and will always follow his heart which is sheilded with light.

Roxas has the greatest impact on me because he has the saddest story that makes me feel it too.

Xion. Because she proved that you can change your own destiny and not follow the path laid out for you like a puppet.

Riku, because no matter if the darkness stops you and make you different, you can use it without fear to success.

Riku.

I know that there is some complaint made about him being forever stuck in the same plot loop, but that makes him even more real to me.  He's the little human who wants to be great and wonderful, the guardian of all he loves, but when he is put to the test he makes a wrong choice, even if his intentions are good.  He continually struggles with the darkness, and even though he loathes it and pushes it away, desperately trying to follow the light, it always returns to haunt him.  His little plot loop of trying to overcome the same problem over and over again is very realistic, more so than most of the other characters stories in Kingdom Hearts.

I guess the most important thing for me, personally, to see happen in Kingdom Hearts, is Riku breaking his loop and finally becoming light.  It's like Nomura is saying that there is still hope for humanity, because if Riku isn't a paraphrase of humanity, I don't know what is.

(Sorry.  One sentence couldn't do him justice.  :3  )

He taught me how important friendship bonds are, as it is to make as many as possible, because in the end your friends are what help you to move on through the hardest moments in life. He also showed me the great power and courage they can create in you whenever you need strenght or a reason to keep going. All of this was conveyed to me in his last moments against Vanitas, knowing the dire consequences of fighting him, but he didn't hold back as long as it meant Terra and Aqua would be safe.

Huey, Dewey, and Louie, they thought me how to make ice cream

Axel, because he always tried to do what was right, even as a nobody. It may have seemed like he was really trying to be a bad guy, but in the end he was trying to do the right thing, he was just limited in what he could do.

Axel, Roxas, Xion..they shows how strong friendship really meant to them even though they are rival/no heart/nobody ... ?

Sora, because he taught me that even the greatest of darkess can be conquered through perseverence and true character. Like Xehanort said, he wasn't anybody grand. The keyblade didn't even choose him. That's what makes him special, the point that he's the hope for the ones it did choose. And by that, I ppersever through life and care for everybody that's close to me and reach out to whoever I can help. Sora's just made me a better person altogether.

Riku, Ventus and Axel(+Zexion) -I love these characters , but I don't know why :) .

I would say Sora has had the biggest impact on me. Sora made me realize that even when situations seem bleak you should never give up because there is always hope; even in the deepest darkness there is always a glimmer of light.

Why the heck isn't Pluto on this list?! COME ON! He showed me that even when you entire an entirely different world (place) that strangers can still be nice and welcoming and lick your face.

For me it was Axel and how he never gave up on his friendship with Xion and Roxas.
