Nope. No one can predict when the world will end. The sooner people realize that, the better it will be.

If people believe that the Mayans can predict the end of the world then why didn't they predict the end of their own civilization or even the Spanish conquistadors?

This has been brought up a billion times already in the past, and not one of those prophecies has come true! The world can end at any moment of any day of any year. The best thing we can do is live out our lives the best we can.

I highly doubt it...but I still worry about those who truly fear it, and how radically they might react.

The chance of the world ending this month is about the same as the hubble telescope discovering that at the center of every black hole is a small asian man with a flashlight looking for a circuit breaker.

If only it would. Humanity is a curse... proven today by the killing of innocent children. Humans just ruin anything they come into contact with. The world as a whole is just polluted (in more ways than one).

 

But no, it won't end. There are people who still strongly believe it will though, so I'm hoping it doesn't turn out with people rioting and proving my point even more so.

Not in the sense you would think. I'm scared of what people are going to do. I personally don't think the world will end, but what about the people who believe it will? What about the ones who think they're going to die anyway, so they've got nothing to lose hurting people?
