Posted

Since Kingdom Hearts III won't finish development until around 2016, do you think it will be on PS4 instead?

  • Kingdom Hearts III on the PlayStation 3 would be a massive mistake in my opinion.   Kingdom Hearts III won't begin development until 2014 at the earliest after the PlayStation 4 is released worldwid

  • Because KH3, a game that will take approximately 3 to 5 years to complete once they actually get started can get crammed onto the PS3 when it doesn't even have a year left.

No, that'd be an idiotic financial decision. Besides, Nomura's changed his mind before.

The Key word is TRYING.

He said KH3 will be on the most recent generation of gaming consoles, so it probably will be on PS4.

yup. Though ps2 lived on a couple years after ps3 came out so ps3 will most likely do the same and can have a good chance of having kh3 on there.

Maybe Square have learned from their past mistake of Re: Chain of Memories not being very popular in the US since the PS3 was already released then.

the joke here is versus taking all this generation time to be made and still not even be nearly finished.

when it cames out it will be another laugh time because "what?! I wait so long for this?" will came out from the fanbase.

KH3  on ps4 is another way to enrage the fansbase.

Another side, Another story.

I think the main reason re com wasn't popular is because most people didn't like the card system for some reason :P

As said by many developers, the PS4 is heaven to develop on.

Please wait a while longer.

I just realized what if Nomura has been secretly  working on KH3 this whole time?

thus he is making the game at 500hr+ game play?

Fun to think about. xP

I have a pretty good feeling it'll be on PS4

This should not even be up for debate. They will have to develop it for the PS4. By the time they finish development, the PS3 will be dead.

I don't think so. Because Nomura did mentioned of wanting to release KH3 on a "current gen console" (which he might refers to as PS3). Otherwise, he would have take even longer time to develop with the engine and technical stuff further.

Kingdom Hearts III on the PlayStation 3 would be a massive mistake in my opinion.

Kingdom Hearts III won't begin development until 2014 at the earliest after the PlayStation 4 is released worldwide.

By the time it's finished development and production the PlayStation 3's ten year period of support will have ended. The console will be hanging on for dear life.

It must be on the PlayStation 4 if it's to have any chance of succeeding.

KH3 will most likely be for PS3, I just hope KH4 can see light in the PS4.

If the game comes out in 2016, it will most likely make appearance on the PS4. That is a three year difference, and most companies would of already begun to solely build games for current-gen. The only game companies that produce games for older consoles are usually those who have game titles that are not very popular. If its not on the Playstation 4, it would be a terrible way to promote the series.

It will. The whole entire new saga is probably going to be on the Vita and PS4.

kh3 disk 1-3 is on ps3 then disks 4-8 is ps4?

kh3 disk 1-3 is on ps3 then disks 4-8 is ps4?

why would there be that many discs? O_O

Hopefully yes :].

Cross Gen title. Developed on the ps4 but ported down to ps3 (if possible).

If Nomura is telling the truth that KH3 won't start development until FFvsXIII is done then I have no doubt it will be on a console not named PS3 (Most likely PS4, but who knows), but if things have changed (considering the uncertainty with FFvsXIII I don't think Square will wait forever to make KH3) and KH3 is 2 years or less away it's not out of the question that KH3 will end up on PS3

why would there be that many discs? O_O

so its a long game
